Just had one of the better meals of my whole life at the hall in Tampa. We've been there a number of times over the past few years sometimes, it eventually became almost a weekly stop. We're coming more frequently because we're saddened that it's closing soon. It was once a giant dance hall! Lots of good times back in the early to mid-2000s. But now it's been reborn into something new that's blossomed into a joinery style restaurant with craft drinks that are the best and most exquisitely crafted I've ever had, ALL ARE FREE today and maybe tomorrow! We heard the waitresses telling people and I was like really?? Don't forget to try the vivo muertes cocktail! tons of food and all the drinks, all absolutely scrumptious.... Our bill was $40! Are you freaking kidding me?! We had two full bowls... (my favorite is the Caribbean bowl from the pork rose) and an appetizer and it still was only 40 bucks and we still had leftover food home. Beautiful outside and inside and wonderful staff... so sad to see it going. Possibility they moved new to a new location in Tampa sometime next year near the new whole foods. But for now, It may only last for this weekend, so if you're reading this, you better get your butts over there before you miss out on one of the greatest things of your lifetime in Tampa Bay to come through in 20 years. They're there for breakfast lunch and dinner. We always went there for brunch this was our first dinner... Wow we were missing out!

Cool place to eat, several restaurant choices. Nice atmosphere in the Heights. Sorry to hear it's closing soon.

The staff was not. I think we needed a reservation to get a table, so we sat on the sofa. Our waitress was soft spoken and we really didn't hear hear over the background noise but she was super nice. It was okay- the food was not memorable. The live music provided by the DJ started around 8, the music was nice enough that it did not take away from the atmosphere. Strong dislike, we did not think there was enough short rib on the grill cheese, the waiter took the plate to see what the manager would approve. The plate was brought back and we were given the filling meat for the ribeye sliders(two different meats and sauces think brisket and sloppy joe different). I'm okay with providing extra meat but in the era of coviid- I really didn't want the plate back after it was taken across the establishment.

My first visit to The Hall on Franklin. I really enjoyed this place. It is great for meeting friends or a date night. It is pricey, but you are paying for the atmosphere. It is really great to see smaller restaurants working together, as it makes your evening enjoyable.Mr Chow Fried rice with shrimp was flavorful. I had enough for leftovers.

What an innovative way to give some variety to the menu. Service was good, food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The set up allowed for space between parties and mask were required. I can't wait to come again to try other items on the menu.

Nice environment and concept. Excellent service. The food was ok. We ordered couple of dishes from each restaurant and the fresh ahi tuna Poke Nachos was delicious. The Porky Pig Ramen was good. the Farmhouse Burger with waffle potatoes was really bad, the potatoes fries were soaked in oil. The other dishes were mediocrely cooked, the fried chicken was raw, and the cornbread was tasteless. Nice environment and concept. Excellent service. The food was ok. Arrived a little before they opened and sat outside. I had already decided to order from Xilo, as I adore Mexican food. The chips, salsa and queso were all delicious and very fresh. When it came time to place our lunch order, I asked our server which was her favorite for tacos. This is when I was informed Xilo no longer makes their corn tortillas and all tacos are served in flour tortillas (not homemade). I greatly appreciate our server's honesty, and would have been disappointed had I ordered tacos without having asked about them. The chicken adobo bowl had a wonderful flavor, but the chicken was a bit dry. Xilo, please update your menu to reflect your decision to switch from homemade corn torts to store bought flour torts.

Don't charge customers double I only ordered one plate and I was charged two plates and when I questioned the waiter she told me to tell another person to buy me a drink after I have her a 25% tip. Beware they will double charge you to confuse you to double charge and don't even care to fix it and dont tip more that 10% when they are robbing you. It's total BS. It's the second time they do this to me. I will never be back so be careful.

At first, I thought this place was not kid friendly. But they have high chairs, comfy chairs for toddlers and a changing table inside the restrooms. The food is really good, although I would stay on the safe side and pick items you know you love. It’s a little pricey to venture out and try something new. Cocktails were great and atmosphere is awesome. We went for brunch on a weekend and it was empty until about noon. The chicken and waffles were amazing! My husband had ramen (porky bowl) and noodles were overcooked a bit. For great ramen, I suggest going to the Joinery in Lakeland. Service was ok, nothing to rave or complain about. The cook at the very front was very kind and courteous when I came in drenched from the outside rain. He made my day! Wish my server had his kindness.

First of all I went to this food hall 2 years ago for the first time and we had a good time, but this 2d time was not good! At all! We order a cheese board and basically came out of Walmart at best where cheese was cut up in cubes with some cheap olives and cheap Cold cuts very vey disappointed!! The rest of the dishes very unremarkable and mediocre at best. It's very much average food and I dint know if it's because of Covid but definitely dissatisfying and boring but in a somewhat fun environment that has potential but food it's not good!

I love the atmosphere & vibe here, it made for the perfect brunch spot for my little family. My husband enjoyed the chicken fried rice while I will never pass up a turkey sandwich if it has avocado and bacon on it! I think it's great that there is so many diverse options the whole family can enjoy. + the icing on the cake was the entire staff was extremely friendly & helpful!
