There were 6 of us ladies that came here for dinner on Friday 3/8. We were celebrating my best friend getting married (it was her bachelorette weekend) & of course we had to include a nice dinner before hitting the city of Tampa/St. Pete! The experience was absolutely amazing. From the service, to the ambiance, and the food, this establishment deserves a Michelin Star. Our server was very friendly. I wanted to surprise my group with a nice bottle of wine for the table; I had asked the server to put the wine on a separate ticket and keep my plan a secret, and she delivered! Timpano has a great wine selection- I ended up selecting a bottle of 2018 Silver Oak Cabernet. Our table was a half booth/half table. The seats were very comfortable, and it felt very private where we can continue to enjoy our food/drinks, yet still have fun. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the Parm to Table experience- the server assistance comes to your table with the homemade pasta in a cheese wheel and makes the sauce right in front of you. We were able to split the entire plate of pasta amongst 6 of us ladies. It was an amazing experience and it was delicious! The prices were very reasonable, highly recommend to visit Timpano in Hyde Park! I know I will definitely be back in the future!

We went for my wife's birthday, we made the reservation online; We arrived and they received us very well, they gave us the table ready and with a happy birthday letter to my wife! Very nice detail, we ordered some drinks, one without alcohol and one with alcohol (the margarita 10/10 recommended) her drink was not so good, the waitress's attention was always professional and pleasant, we ordered the pasta it took well over 40 minutes but it was very delicious and a good quantity, to close the waitress brought an ice cream to sing birthday! everything very good

If I could sum it up in 1 words… Overpriced. For what you get, you can go somewhere else for half the cost. The inside dining room is very loud (people trying to talk over the music) had to keep asking our server to refil water and drinks. At one point he took all silverware away after appetizers but didn’t bring any back. Had to wait for silverware when our entries came out. Ordered the Ribeye and Cavatelli. The Ribeye was cooked nicely but the meat was not as tender as you would expect from a $70 cut. I would say it was no different from a $30 Outback or Roadhouse steak. The Cavatelli for what was with it was very bland. Not as much flavor as I would have liked and the sausage was ground up and very small. For the amount we paid I would not recommend or return.

Beautiful restaurant in Hyde Park, a little bit pricey, but the quality of food is better then most so it's worth it. I went with a group of girlfriends and everything we had, from the appetizers to the dessert was delicious.

We often go for lunch and sit at the bar. Typically the service is Very slow, especially the kitchen. We have had a few problems with the food in the past, but today it was embarrassment because we went with another couple. The bartender who was servicing us at the table remembered us she was very pleasant. She was also embarrassed that the food took more than a half hour. My wife ordered salmon with broccolini. It came with asparagus without asking or explanation. Her girlfriend ordered a salad with dressing on the side and it came in the salad. I ordered a burger, when I tried to pick it up The bottom of the bottom was saturated and almost glued to the plate with some sort of cheese or spread. The burger itself look like it had been cooked on one side only totally burnt on that side.. I ordered it medium needless to say it was well done . I ate what I could, although it was discussing without the bottom of the bun because it was a soggy mess. I was to embarrassed to tell our waitress, but I was so disgusted I went to the bar and showed her what was left on my plate. I’m not sure what’s going on with this kitchen, but it is very sad to see this kind of nonsense. She was very embarrassed and went to the manager. Thankfully they did not charge me for the burger.

Mediocre food for a lot of money. Ribeye was terrible. Quite possibly the worst steak I’ve ever had for that price.

This was my first time at Timpano and I celebrated my 23rd Birthday! My waiter Logan P. was AWESOME! He definitely made my Birthday one to remember with his service, fun personality and attention to detail. I loved all the food, pretty ambience (we sat outside and it was a beautiful day), and just the whole experience. I’m sure my friends can say the same thing. Thank you Timpano for everything, will definitely come back! :)

Super Service. However, that's where the praise really ends. We had 3 appetizer's and 2 entrees. Truly a mixed bag. The Wagyu Carpaccio was outstanding (though a little heavy on the greens and no capers). The Octopus was very good as well and not rubbery. We also had the Burrata with pistachio paste which was a bit sour; possibly the burrata wasn't very fresh. The entrees were Linguine and Clams and Cavatelli with Sausage. The clams were very small, and a bit overcooked. The Linguine was overly salty and didn't have much taste. The Sausage was a bit overwhelming in an herb I can't place (sage?) and the Cavatelli was undercooked (not al dente, too firm) and much too salty. A mixed bag, but not worth the price with the quality received sad to say.

Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the oysters were VERY small and barely any meat. Everything else was amazing! Farm to table the bucatini was soo good. Our server was really awesome!

Snapper picatta was excellent. Meatball appetizers were very good too. I thought the bacon wheel on my old fashioned was actually a little gross looking snd unappetizing. Overall, a very good meal.
