I would never recommend this place for catering. Although the owner is nice, the service and experience with Brandi was terrible. I booked catering with Wicked Oak BBQ over 6 months in advance for my wedding. I provided all delivery details and information. I received the invoice and had several questions, so when I called and spoke with Brandi I was told not to worry about the small $80 deposit and that the full payment can be made the week of delivery. They resent the invoice 6 days before the wedding, but when I called to make my payment they informed me they have over booked themselves and that I can pick it up on the day of the wedding but they will no longer deliver because “they weren’t sure I was still using them”. Everything was booked and scheduled down to the delivery time and person of contact. If several confirmations are required, it should be the duty of the establishment to reach out and confirm THE EVENTS THAT THEY BOOKED, before over scheduling themselves and providing a lame excuse such as “we weren’t sure”. They stated there was a miscommunication, but there was absolutely no misunderstanding.. Brandi provided bad information then subtly laughed when she said “I haven’t heard from you recently“… again, this event was booked and delivery was scheduled. Felix the owner “tried” to make the situation better by offering to have his friend (not an employee) deliver with an additional fee of $150.I do not recommend this food establishment ESPECIALLY if you have a wedding or any important event. They have proven to be unreliable and unprofessional.

Food was very delicious! We got the bbq pork sandwich platter with tots and Mac as well as the bbq nachos. You could taste the smoke flavor on the bbq. I will note that all of the bbq sauces are sweet, which I like sweet bbq sauces so that was fine with me. They had some unique flavors of them too! I thought the prices were good for how much food we got. There is outdoor seating in the back and a little bit of indoor seating inside. The girl who took our order was very polite and answered any questions we had.

My favorite platter is the ribs! I love their Mac n cheese and potato salad. So far the ribs have been moist and full of meat.
Stopped in for lunch after a visit to ZooTampa- what a great surprise! Great BBQ and unique Bbq sauce choices. The collard greens and baked beans were also fantastic.

I ordered lunch for our department yesterday and not only was our order 100% correct without any issues (right down to us getting every single bbq sauce we ordered) - it was delicious. Me, myself, I got the pull pork platter with tater tots and mac and cheese and let me tell you - it was remarkable. The apple bbq sauce for the meat was so good, and a perfect pairing to both sweeten and spice things up a little bit! Will def be recommending to friends & coming back!

Tried it because we didn't want to wait at another very popular barbacue place. It was OK but not for the price. If the food was out of this world barbacue, I wouldn't have thought twice. The size of the ? pudding for $5 was ridiculously small. And I've had better for sure. It's just not worth it imo. Won't be back. ? Parking was horrible.
