We went there when it was very busy. And they asked us if we were okay sitting at the sushi bar which we said okay. They took our orders and they offered us drinks and we ordered a drink drink. And they delivered my wife's Meal which was two orders from the sushi bar which she ate and enjoyed thoroughly. And then we waited and waited for my order which was simply a bowl of ramen. And when it finally arrived I turned it back. The service was the worst I'd ever had in my life they never checked to refill water they never asked if I wanted another beer and then they brought the ramen 10 minutes after my wife finished her meal. In the military, I could cook ramen in a canteen cup with tuna and eat it and clean up in less than 10 minutes but at yoko's they take in too many patrons and they just don't have the wherewithal to cover it all. Very disappointing

A staple of South Tampa.Being a non sushi lover married to a sushi fanatic can be trying. The majority of sushi houses don't leave much on the menu if sushi is not your thing. Yoko's is the exception. Many items that are fully cooked and a house rice dish that has every protein in the book. The wife loves their rolls and we have never had a bad experience.

Sushi Chef MJ was a delight. He was welcoming and friendly. Promptly served us and answered all questions we had.Sushi and pork belly steamed buns were good.Unfortunately that is where the positives stop. The restaurant smelt like a bathroom, the waiter (I believe his name was Joe) was rude and ignored us the entire time. The chef had to grab his attention in order for to even get a drink order in. The server never introduced himself, didn’t greet us. The only words out of his mouth was “ready to order?”We were served burnt and cold gyoza. The chef had to get his attention a second time (which was the only other time we saw him) in order to get a check after sitting for almost 30 minutes after appetizers were dropped off. It took so long we opted to just leave rather get our entrées.Very disappointed in our experience to the point we for the first time ever decided to not tip the server and to leave an extensive review.

My honest review based on my take out order and my first time here, the girl at the front was super sweet, she did great taking our order! I think our order sat there for a bit because it was cold (we ordered hot items as well as sushi). And to be honest the sushi was just okay, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great, my favorite was sister roll. Also, it was quite expensive compared to my normal sushi place nearby called Sakana, I get the same amount of items at Sakana it’s usually around $65, and I spent $100 here.

A friendly sushi restaurant with a cozy sushi bar area and very walkable from much of Palma Ceia. The ambiance is functional, but the sushi is always good and we adore their fried tofu appetizer. The Yakisoba dishes are also yummy. This is the place where my child fell in love with sushi so I have huge affection for this restaurant.

Solid sushi joint tucked away in South Tampa. Their happy hour specials are fantastic -- $2 off glasses of wine and $2 off specialty rolls! I got the Red Devil roll and it was delicious. Only beer wine and sake, no cocktails. Lots of great options to choose from for food and excited to come back to try their other rolls.

Service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing. I highly recommend the steam buns, they were delicious (pork belly and shrimp were my favorite ones). Will be going back!

This has become my new Friday sushi happy hour place. Great rolls and ambiance. Yoko edamame is a must have. Must sit a the bar, there is no better way that up close and personal. Friendly staff! Looking forward to next Friday.

$17 for a bowl of ramen that's very clearly not even freshly made ingredients, the noodles look like they came out of a top ramen pack, the broth was bland and they had an UMARINATED hardboiled egg instead of a soft boiled marinated egg. Save your money and go to izakaya Tori or token ramen instead not only are they cheaper, but their ramen is much better.

One of the best sushi spots in town. Had a lot of different sushi rolls. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
