The Non Roti Maker

Excellent food and the portion sizes for some of their sandwiches can feed two people. Their drinks are not bad either. Order any of their sandwiches and you wont be disappointed.

Stopped I. Around the holiday for a bite and brew. Place was fairly full around lunch on a weekend. Plenty of seating, friendly staff and a few visiting roosters occasionally. Live music that day was good. Our food was very tasty and satisfying, brews were great. Recommend stopping by when in the area.

The last hurrah for the Ybor location. Friends canceled last minute. Soloed it and so glad I did. 26 dollars bottomless low country boil was amazing and worthy plus the to go box at the end was ginormous! The band upstairs was an added bonus.Park in a city parking south of 7th. I received 2 free hours!

I understand now, after trying this resturant, why it is closing. Service is bad, really bad. Ordered two regular menu items. Asked after about 30 minutes about our orders. Was told tickets had not been sent to kitchen, had to re order. 2 minutes later, my dish was delivered to our table. 20 minutes later, I went to check on wifes order. Ordered again, finally got her meal. No wonder they are closing.

We were there for a networking meeting, so they had out trays of food. My husband had wings and a sandwich. I didn't eat because I have food allergies and didn't want to bother asking about ingredients. The servers were prompt in keeping the trays stocked and were friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was very "brewhousey" typical be house decor. 3

Local Ybor City resident here. This place’s food, service and cost have all declined in the last year or so. Had to ask for silverware, napkins and ketchup and it didn’t even make it out by the time the food arrived. Seemed to be understaffed. Ordered 2 bottomless mimosas but between the two of us drank one bottle of champagne and asked for the check. When asked why we were charged $40 ($20 each) for the bottomless mimosas when we didn’t even drink the 1st full bottle, was met with “that’s how we do it here”. Excuse me, but $40 for one bottle of $5 champagne is asinine. So we ordered another round, paid, and walked out with the 2nd full bottle. Music entertainment was awesome but we will probably not return here (even though I live 3 blocks away) unless in a pinch or have family or friends in town and need an average to below average place close to home. Can’t wait til more restaurants and bars move into this area with the new development. Maybe the existing establishments will step up.

What a phenomenal event!!!! Truly perfection all around. There was not a person there that could have gone home hungry, thirsty or with feet that did not hurt!I cannot find the right words to express our gratitude to your entire team for pulling off such a fun and epic success.Thank you to the entire Zydeco team!

As a native of the new Orleans area I was excited about try this place out only to be disappointed because they are inspired by Louisiana cooking, not doing Louisiana cooking. Seems they've fallen into the fallacy that adding spicy heat makes it Cajun/Creole and that equates flavor. For example, there is no need for spicy heat in a mufaletta. It has enough flavor as it is, but they ruined a perfectly good dish by adding a spicy olive spread instead of the traditional olive salad. It seems that they think the heat can make up for the loss of bite of the olive salad. It does not. The olive salad brings a nice vinegar bite and the crunch of the vegetable melody that is lost with the mushy spread.Let's not get started on the inclusion of Old Bay ranch on their "Cajun" cob salad. Old Bay isn't used in Louisiana. Personally, I think the seasoning blend is trash when compared to Tony Chachere’s. This is how you can tell the owners have no ties to Louisiana and are only using a culture to make money.Beer is fine.
