National Bakery is less a purveyor of pastries and more a macabre experiment in culinary horror. Each dish seems inspired by the contents of a witch's cauldron, featuring such delicacies as "mold-crusted bread" and "tar-tasting tarts." The service, managed by a host who could easily double as a villain in a Gothic novel, adds an extra layer of dread to the dining experience. Visiting National Bakery is akin to stepping into a scene from a Poe story where every bite and every moment serves to unsettle and dismay.

They offer the best baklava and have a great service with an excellent price. I ordered an extra large order an event and they had it ready right on time. Our guests were so impressed by the delicious baklava that kept asking us about where we purchased them from. Thank you to Katina.

The beautiful woman behind the counter was very sweet and showed a quick tour of the bakery. I ordered the key lime, the tiramisu and a couple other deserts and they were incredible and so cheap! Highly recommend checking out this

Stopped in while driving through to get some pastries. Had not been to tarpon springs in 25 years and was thrilled to be back. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. She let my wife and I tour the back of the bakery which was awesome. Definitely worth the stop. The pastries are awesome.

Super nice owner, very friendly and warm. Even though we didn't have enough cash, we still got what we wanted. There is hardly anything like that these days. Thank you for that! and it tasted fantastic too.

I had been told by friends that this was the Greek bakery to visit while in Tarpon Springs, even if you have to "hunt" for it away from the tourist area. Absolutely true - very nice experience talking to the owner and packed up some great baked goods (for my wife) for the flight home.
