We had a good lunch here. The bakery is very tasty and worth the stop. Place gets crowded, lots of seating and can be a bit of a wait at times. Food is tasty and reasonably priced.

When expecting a wonderful Greek restaurant in Tarpon Springs, do not go to the Parthenon for an enjoyable, tasty meal. The first impression was that the inside of the restaurant was dirty including sticky tables and crumbs everywhere on the floor. In addition, the food was unsatisfactory to say the least. A traditional greek restaurant has the meat spit behind the counter, however the Parthenon had all of the food prep, including a meat spit, away from the customers line of sight. The gyro toppings were disappointing since it was served with feta cheese, tzatiki sauce, and a single tomato slice without any cucumber or additional ingredients. The meat was dry and old tasting while the pita bread was burnt and hard. If you want a tasty Greek food experience, we recommend that you do not go to the Parthenon and try another place in Tarpon Springs.

Service was very slow. Took twenty mins for a drink. Greek coffee wasn't hot when served. Food was mediocre. Wasted 70 dollars garbage food and service

Super tasty and reasonably priced. Super quick service. Vivid safety protocols are being observed. Highly recommend. Delicious.

Although the decor looks a little outdated, do not let that fool you. The food is FANTASTIC!! All of the hummus was AMAZING, the pita was fresh, the spanakopita was simply DELICIOUS!!! It wasn't crowded and the service was wonderful!! Stop in here and eat before going to the crowded neighbor down the street. The prices here are great and I can't say enough how delicious the food is!! Very authentic!!

Absolutely no flavor to the food.... whoever the lady was behind the counter, she definitely had no customer service and tookyyy offense because I said the food had no flavor. She really needs to learn how to not display eye rolling around her customers. Luckily enough, I was around my grandfather and I choose to not throw the food back on the counter to tell them that due to their lack of food quality and their lack of professionalism, they were definitely not worthy of the money. If you want this type of food, take your money and get fast food.

The food was good but sadly the staff is just about the worst group of people you can come across. Rude, not helpful, and most notably lazy. They constantly rolled their eyes when any guest asked them a question and wouldn't help another customer setting up the tables. Overall, the food was good, but if you are looking for good customer service go elsewhere.

The best gyro EVER. We are from Indianapolis and tried this spot while on Florida vacation. My friends had the classic lamb gyro and I had the chicken gyro. I loved the chicken, but then when I tried a bite of their lamb, I was a little sad I didn't just get that. So so so good! They cover it in tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, onions and tomatoes. Nothing is skimped on. Also get their Greek fries - they had seasoning on them and crumbled feta. One order is enough to share between 3-4 people. Besides the delicious food, they have a huge selection of desserts in a case to choose from. We were all pretty stuffed from the main food but decided to split some of the desserts - and they were also great. Side note - they also serve some select beer and wine. Definitely check this place out if you are shopping in the Spongedocks. So worth it!!!

Rude front counter staff. Rushed. You would think they want your money for a tourist trap. Left without spending a dime and will never go back. Thought we'd try this place for the first time since we have frequented others. Waste of time.

Many of the Greek restaurants along the sponge docks are owned by the same company. The Parthenon serves nearly the same food as the other Greek places along the street. We had souvlaki and it was very good. The service was quick and efficient as well. Later in the day we returned and bought balaclava to take back to our condo - it was delicious too.

Not spectacular, but nice selection of sweet treats. The service is cheerful and the coffee was excellent. We started our day in Tarpon here with a treat and had to go back again after our lunch down the street.
