This is a great themed bar. The only thing that irked me was that the cocktails are wine based. No where on the menu does it say that. I feel like it’s deceitful when it doesn’t specify.
We went here with our siblings that live in Florida. They recommended this place as one of their favorite locations. It's different because you're in what appears to be a submarine and damn does it feel like it as well. You are so damn tight in this place and it's small.We sat down and got waited on immediately. I wasn't in a beer mood and ordered some wine instead. The bartender was down to earth. She was the best of the bartenders out there. We did selfies when my wife went to the bathroom and she was such a good sport because she got involved in the pics.Ran into my siblings friends and we got to talking about wine and beer. Good location, good place to come and have drinks. Love this place. Good Stop.

If you haven't been to the Argonaut.. then you haven't experienced one of the most unique restaurants and bars in Tavares and surrounding areas. The food and drinks are out of this world. The service is top-notch ?. Keep up the outstanding work ????

I didn't try the food, but the drink I had was good & the atmosphere was nice. The bathroom seemed clean & the waitress was friendly. I liked it for the most part. It was just a little pricey & the music kinda sucked so we only stayed for one drink.

My wife and I went here while we were in the area for something else, and this ended up being the highlight! Super detailed theme, and we loved the octopus scattered about along with watching the aquariums. The drinks were creative and tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. Also we had the owner as our server and she was spot on. When in the area, we will be coming back ?

The decorations and design are nice, and that's it. Cocktails premixed, food from Walmart.... cheap, and the cop server wasn't funny AT ALL. I don't recommend it. There are plenty of places around with a nicer atmosphere.

Very cool, creatively designed bar with light bites. You have to check it out. You'll love the concept of a bar with a submarine type theme inspired by Jules Verne 20,000 Leagues Under thr Sea! Order the Bombs Away or The Abyss for the entertainment value AND taste. You can tell Hillary the owner is very passionate about this as well as her and her husband's other hospitality concepts. Really loved the Spotify playlist Henry's List playing. Check it out!!

My husband and I were in town for the night 2 weekends ago and we were walking around exploring the area and we found this little gem of a bar. We intended on just stopping in for 1 drink but we enjoyed the atmosphere so much I think we ended up there for 2 hours and me working my way through the drink menu! Definitely a fun little bar with delicious drinks and excellent, kind service. So glad we stumbled upon it!
