We were visiting town and were looking for something good. Oh did we find the jackpot!! The food here was absolutely delicious!! We decided to share our meals in order to get to try more. Two rice versions (yellow & dirty), yams, mac & cheese, catfish, oxtail, honey fried chicken, smoked cabbage were perfect!! Oh do not skip the sweet cornbread almost like a cornbread pound cake and another must is the banana pudding!! Every bite was a soulful bliss of love, flavor, & freshly made goodness!! Wish we lived closer would be a frequent stop for us!! Oh and the vibe along with customer service was excellent!! God bless!

Came in and had rice and beans with curry chicken with the side of Mac n cheese, cabbage. The curry chicken is the best I’ve had at a restaurant out side of the Caribbean, it came with yuca and carrots. And the Mac n cheese taste just as good as homemade. I also had the pineapple lemonade, which was sweet and delicious. The place is very welcoming and the worker here are incredibly nice, and it very cute and clean inside. I could not recommend this place any more.

Seems I paid $25 for a serving of plantains neing its the only thing worth eating. The rice & peas are bland and over cooked. The cabbage is bland and under cooked - I'm talking crunchy, and the oxtails are plain ole tough ?. My first and last visit.

Mangos has delicious food, no doubt about it! I have enjoyed every dish I have ever gotten from there. However, their staff move with NO SENSE OF URGENCY! There is no reason why it should be an hour wait for food. If the servers would pick up the pace, the wait would be much shorter. So many people walk out of the restaurant before being served because the wait is ridiculous. There is food there and it’s ready to be served, the problem is the staff! They move like snails! I don’t understand it!
To whom it may concern I am a 1 st time customer I actually follow you on social media Instagram and TikTok I ordered a small oxtail combo. Respectfully, I was not satisfied the oxtails were not tender. They were very rough and tough. That I could barely eat them, the cabbage needs more seasoning, and it was a little too hard for my liking the mac & cheese was a little dry, but it was eatable not so bad this is my honest review. I gave it 3out of 10.

I wrote this review mainly based on portion size. I came multiple times and order jerk chicken lunch special which they give you two piece of chicken (a leg and a thigh). I order a large jerk chicken which they gave me the same portion size as the lunch special. So im trying to figure out what makes it a large if you get the exact same amount of chicken and rice as the small jerk chicken. Anywhere else a large is 2 thigh, 2 leg and alot of rice. I think you guys need to discuss the portion of a small dish vs a large dish because it's not logical to serve the same portion for two different size. Other than that the food is always good.
