We had lunch here right after arriving in the area from Orlando. Nice view of the driving range from the patio. Sherry ordered crab cakes as her meal; I opted for a mushroom Swiss burger. We were both quite pleased. I wasn't fond of the fries, however, which were thick cut. Our server, Krystal, was attentive and knowledgeable. The cost was on the high side, no surprise for a country club in an upscale community

The bar, the patio, the dining room, all have great atmospheres, great food, Friday night or jazz night. Lot of music on the patio. I think the best club and golf course in the villages!

I have never left a review for any restaurant but I have to share what a wonderful time we had tonight at Palmer Legends! My husband and I are visiting friends here in The Villages and for our last night we all decided to go to dinner I am so glad we did! The restaurant itself is very comfortable we sat at a table in the lounge. Our server was Schy she was phenomenal. Very personable and friendly. My husband ordered the ahi tuna and I almost ate all of it myself on top of my own food it was THAT good. Yes it was a little pricey but for how much fun we had and for how great the food was there really is no complaint. Not sure if a credit surcharge is something that's common in The Villages but it should not stop you from visiting this country club. We will definitely be stopping here again when we are back in Florida!

We had a nice lunch so we went back for Valentine's Day. My fish was rubbery and extremely fishy tasting. Although we had a nice server, when I brought this to her attention she said "ok" and nothing else. When I sent a message to their Facebook site, they said "thank you for your feedback". I guess I expected more. Maybe an apology or if I was asked if I would like something else. It was only $30 but I expected something edible. Would I go back? Maybe next year if we visit again but I wouldn't go on a busy day.

Food was delicious. Service was ok. Had to ask for bread. Disappointed that if you use a credit card; they charge a 3.99% credit card charge. As an FYI. This is not legal to do this. Can merchants charge a credit card fee in Florida?(1) A seller or lessor in a sales or lease transaction may not impose a surcharge on the buyer or lessee for electing to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check, or similar means, if the seller or lessor accepts payment by credit card.I suggest you research it.

It was super packed when we arrived for our 6PM reservation. Was seated in the bar area which was extremely loud. Our server, who was most pregnant, was very charming and an excellent server. Food was quick and good. I had the steak salad which was prepared perfectly.

Recently my husband and I had dinner at Palmer Legends. We ordered the chateaubriand for $99. The tenderloin was excellent. Very tender and cooked to perfection. The sides however were very disappointing. The roasted potatoes were obvioudly made earlier in the day and just reheated. Not freshly prepared and it was obvious by the way they tasted. The meal also came with a whole roasted tomato with a cheese topping. It was literally microwaved and raw tasting. The zucchini vegetables were also uneventful. Not even fully cooked. Would not recommend spending the money there because the preparation of the food does not match the prices being charged. So much for a gourmet country club meal. Too bad The Villages doesn't offer many restaurant selections nor are they very good. Basically mediocre. Because several restaurants are owned by the same owner, it's the same blah experience no matter which restaurant in the group you try. The non Villages restaurants on the main streets are much better choices. For the type of community the Morse family is marketing, they need to focus on more and better restaurant options that have good healthy quality options. Some cafes would be nice with clean farm to table options as well.

We’ve eaten here several times but tonight’s meal was terrible. Grilled salmon on a cedar plank. Salmon was grilled to the point of being charred and then placed on a cedar plank for appearance only. Not grilled on the plank as the menu said. Mashed potatoes were like a baby’s purée and had a terrible flavor to them. Broccoli was old, no flavor.
