“I'd like to see more Mediterranean sorts of decorations in here but generally speaking it's pretty cool place. I was recommended to try the Mediterranean chicken and so I did and it was good but I didn't realize my mood really would have been better Suited for a calzone which they said they had I didn't see it on the menu and I forgot to ask about it.”

“Small restaurant. I guess they do mostly take away, but we ate there. There are about 5 tables.I had Lasagna...probably best I've had in a long time. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was very good. I'll go back often!Parking: Small parking lot shared with other businesses.”

“Food was excellent, well seasoned and flavorful. Service was great. The waitress was polite, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was surprisingly upscale for being in a "Barn". Average cost, with desert, was was less than $20 per person, moderately priced. I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with the Vegetable Medley and Chopped Salad. My wife had the Ramen Noodle Bowl and the two friends both had the Karaage Bowl. We also had the Edamame for an appetizer. No complaints on the Edamame and Salad. Both were as expected. The entrees however were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed them and we will be back. Well deserving of a five star review!”

“Ordered Takeout with Bourbon Chicken, 10 Egg rolls, and Fried Shrimp. My friend said fried shrimp was busss. I like the bourbon chicken and the egg rolls were cooked perfectly. Overall, 8.5/10 nothing too crazy but does not disappoint!”

“My husband & I stopped here for lunch after attending Trentons Spring festival. What a great restaurant! We both got a crispy fish sandwich w/ fries. Superb! Excellent flavor & crunchiness! Came with tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, & onion. Fries were delicious! Service was fast & Tyler (I think her name was) was very friendly & attentive. Clean restrooms. Casual atmosphere. Lots on the menu to choose from. We were very pleased & will definitely be back again!”

“First time visit and will definitely return. The menu was great with a big selection of meals. Our waitress, Rylee, was excellent and when we told her it was our first time there offered us samples of all the meats and the different flavors of rice. She was very attentive too.”

“Great place that kind of reminded me of a waffle house but they have a MUCH larger menu. Very good food & service. We sat at the bar & were able to watch the 3 cooks work together in perfect unison with each other. My husband was fascinated, mostly because he can't do anything in a kitchen! The only critique I have is the waffles were cold and butter wouldn't even melt. Taste was fantastic. I had the pecan waffle. My husband had what they call the MVP which is a little bit of everything. I'd go back for sure. Great coffee too!”

“We love Akins. I've eaten here practically my whole life , always delicious. This place has always been Mr and my hubby's date night meal.whether we get it to go or eat inside . Only place we will spend money for food at. Everything's always delicious and cooked perfectly. The last two times we've been the fried foods we're fried completely (or cold oil) ... the garlic bread has been stale... but I'd recommend to anyone, just double check before you leave . ?”

“French fries and hush puppies were overdone. The zucchini was mushy. The fish tacos and chicken club sandwich were both good.The server seemed a bit overwhelmed but trying! We'll mark it up as an aberration and we'll be back.”

“We loved the ambience along with the friendly staff. It is nice to feel at home and be able to joke with staff. I ordered the rib plate and got brisket with corn nuggets and fried onion strings. My husband ordered the pulled pork plate with green beans and coleslaw. This was enough food for 3-4 people honestly! The flavor was yummy and the BBQ sauce was good too. We definitely will return and I can't wait to try the pie!!!”

“My favorite brunch and lunch place. The food does not disappoint. I haven't had a bad meal there, and their pickles are the best. Longer wait time during lunch perhaps but the staff is very organized so not that much longer. Worth any wait though.”

“We stopped here by chance, and we were not sorry we did! The food was fantastic! I had the vegetarian burrito, and it was the best I've ever tasted! The combination of spices and ingredients was a little mariachi band in my mouth! We also had steak taco on corn and it was great as well, very authentic in taste and atmosphere! They even have real sodas from Mexico! Prices were very fair and the young lady that served us took great care. Food was out quickly and piping hot. Clean inside and out. “It's a drive thru, so no real atmosphere to talk about. I had a fish sandwich, which was really pretty good. I ordered onion rings with it...those were not so good. Way too much batter and all of them stuck together. Probably best you don't order those. I'll be back though. I'll try other food there, like maybe a burger and fries.”

“A huge should out to the Lighthouse!!! We haven't been here in a few years, but it's just as I remembered amazing, fresh food!! I'm so glad that Jamie still has that outstanding salad bar.. it has everything you could ever imagine!! Our server Hanniah was on top of it all. “The fried pork chops were excellent. The baked beans and potato salad was good. The peach cobbler could have been baked a little longer, to firm up the breading. The restaurant is quaint, but desperately needs an overhaul, especially the latrines.”

“This could be a great store. All of the shelves are along the walls. No isles. Which leads to a poor selection in anything but cheap liquor. Prices are a tad on the high side for small bottles of anything decent.Cashier was friendly enough, but I probably wouldn’t return because of the small selection of good whiskey and vodka.*Note this is in a very small town, so that may have a an impact on their selections. They just may not sell enough to keep a larger selection.”
