“One if the BEST food trucks in the state! I've been to quite a few in many states and this one has the perfect variety of food. Steak subs were so delicious! And my family is hooked on the burritos ?! Best ones I've ever had! If you go, definitely get the watermelon dink! You won't regret it!!“
“I think a 4.5 rating would have been a little more appropriate. We really enjoyed the food, although it wasn't nearly the best we've ever had. But it tasted fresh and well cooked and it was a perfect amount , so I don't see any reason to knock a star off for the food.We liked our waitress, but she was taking a lot of time to ask us if we needed anything after we finished eating. We wanted to order dessert, but waited a long time, as I suspect she was busy cooking for another customer. I get the feeling it's a small family room business so I respect that. But, if you are in a hurry just be aware of this possibility. I'm sure if you mentioned that you are needing quicker attention she would be happy to comply. The coffee was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure what their magic is. For dinner we had a chicken and a chorizo authentic taco, and those were my favorite. So fresh and tasty. We had hot chili sauce with it. I did not care for the green mild sauce at all . We also got the gordita and sopa because we have never had these before. This type of shell is not my favorite thing, but I think a lot of people might like it. I found it to be heavy. However, the contents inside were wonderful. We also had the flan and it was very good. The prices are more than reasonable. The location is very convenient, with parking right outside. It was walking distance to the Inn we were staying at.Before I wrap up I need to say that the ambiance/ atmosphere was what tipped me into the five star category. The music was very nice and tasteful, the setup made it intimate and cozy, and it has a modern yet relaxed vibe. I loved the decor and if I lived nearby I think I would eat here very often. All in all, I think anyone in the area should check this place out. I wish these folks a lot of success.“
“Ok... going three months on and off...and normally horrible, needing refunds, forgetting did, not caring about customers. Went last week, new staff I've never seen. Tattoo guy and wild hair girl were amazing!!!! They rock.Vegetarian options: Black beans vs meatKid-friendliness: Tacos. With the app everyone can dine.“
“This restaurant has the best Mexican food in the state, IMO. We lived in Arizona for 20 years and miss real Mexican food. My husband had the enchiladas and I had the carne asada. Everything was great. The restaurant is clean, service is excellent and food is great.Parking: Parking is tough. Street parking is the best option, but hard to find a spot on weekends.“
“Delicious food!!! Our favorite Mexican restaurant around town! Service is always excellent. Chips and salsa is yummy. Birria tacos are the best! Chicken dinner is a great deal and is enough food to feed a family. Includes a whole chicken seasoned perfectly, two sides, drinks and tortillasy.“
“Exceptionally tasty with generous portions. Was impressed immediately when we sat down, they give you a small jar of salsa to refill the ramekin, the queso was almost large enough to swim in. I had the Mexican ribeye (delicious), worth the 30-minute drive.“
“You have to love little "hole in the wall" places that are easily overlooked. I was driving from Howey in the Hills the other day and noticed this restaurant hiding in an unassuming strip mall. Since my wife adores Mexican food, I promised I would bring her. A couple days later I made good on that promise, and we are glad I did. We were seated promptly and served house made chips and salsa. The salsa was a tad on the spicy side, but very good and shouldn't be too spicy unless you are very sensitive. I'm talking just that little heat at the back of your throat, and enough to liberate your sinuses. My wife had two soft tacos which she devoured. I had the Chorizo Burrito, which was huge! Seriously, it's a good investment, because you WILL get two meals from it. I had hibiscus aqua fresca, which I greatly enjoyed. The wife had Mexican Coca-Cola. I highly recommend stopping by. I know it won't be the last time my wife and I visit.“
“Really awesome food. Always feel it kind of a bit overpriced but that doesn't deter us. Only reason it doesn't get five stars is the one thing each waiter has seemed to not fully listen to our request with our orders. The is no issues taste wise or portion related. But, every time we go there we ask for them not to put certain toppings on our food and they almost get it right but there is always one of the few things on the food that we had asked to be removed from the dish. (For example please no sour cream, cilantro sauce, or guacamole please. And there will still have one thing that you didn't ask for on the food out of the three) but it's not the end of the world. Doesn't stop us from really enjoying the food.Parking: There is a lot of parking in the big field or lot across the street. Just have to do a little walking. If you get lucky you can get one of the few spots in the back entrance area when not super busy. Same with the front entrance which is on grove (it could be bay but I think bay street is the north side) street there is a few parallel parking spots only.Wheelchair accessibility: It doesn't seem to have a lot of wide enough spaces and I think there is a step or two down once you get in the door . I could be wrong.“
“The best Mexican in town. New name: Masters. The birria tacos are incredible! (think pot roast tacos, w beef au jus dip.) The barbacoa - all the meat is so much better, & higher quality, than other places in town. Even the beans and rice are great! Ice cream, rice drinks“
“Genuinely the best quesadillas I've had in my life. There are a few different restaurants in the area that serve quesadillas, but none compare to the ones I've had here, even outside of the county. You're missing out if you don't try the food at Tacos Chiapas. No question to it. The price is perfectly reasonable, too!“
“First time at this authentic Mexican restaurant, and what a great first impression they made! Whether it was the ambiance, hospitality, wide variety of dishes or the quality of our selections, there isn't anything I could find lacking! My wife and I first, ordered the salsa, queso and guacamole trio, then ordered the same entrèe (Ribeye steak with rice, beans and a perfectly sauteed cactus. (YES, you read that correctly, CACTUS!))The entire meal was a real treat at the end of a long day, and so much so, we are already planning our next visit!“
“Some of the best Mexican food ever their tripas tacos are off the chain.. If u don't know what they are I recommend not asking until you've actually tried them. I promise you will be back for more just like me...Vegetarian options: Everything is awesome ?Parking: Tight busy but doable“
“The food was delicious. There should be more lettuce, onion, and tomato served as a side of the plate. The "pico de gallo" salsa for the nacho chips should have fresh cilantro and more lime juice. The drink lids leak too easily from the rim.“
