Payton was excellent! She was able to arrange for us to split a quesadilla dinner, get half chicken and half vegetable, and she even got the kitchen to split in onto two plates with sauces for each! That's customer service! The quesadillas were delicious, and the martinis were perfect. A great Cinco de Mayo...

Love this restaurant...BUT...both of us ordered salmon...one arrives as expected - rectangular filet cooked perfectly...other salmon arrived square/thin end over cooked and smaller....this was REALLY obvious...should bot have been put on the grill.

The staff at the soor was very friendly and showed to our table in just minutes. Our aeever, Valeria, was exceptional. She was professional, fun and very attentive checking back with us in a timely manner to ask how everything was and telling us to enjoy. The food came out quickly, was as described on the menu. My boyfriend had a Caesar sals, and I started with. Blue cheese wedge - both delicious! I had a shrimp umami dish with bokchoy and jasmine rice, and my boyfriend had the tuna with asian slaw. No complaints-delicious. We ended our meal with decaf cappuccinos - a perfect end to the meal. Valeria brought us the dessert menu, but we opted not to have it. The portions are plentiful. I brought some of the shrimp home. We'll definitely go back!!

This was our 4th time at Stonewood Grill & Tavern. We have consistently find excellent service, delicious food and an overall enjoyable dinner. The staff is always friendly and efficient.

Nicole was excellent! My Umami Garlic Shrimp special was outstanding; hope this one makes it to the regular menu! My wife's Cedar Plank Salmon was delicious, also. Martinis were perfect.
I chose to sit at the bar. Bartenders really had no interest in serving food at bar. Had to constantly flag down for refills, etc. Was looking for a 5 Star service, just the basics. Also, bar back was pretty nasty with fruit flies, mixing utensils soaking in dirty water - that are reused. Just not worth the money. Too many other options.

Our waiter, Adam, was great, we had a good time with him. He recommended the Special Sea Bass, it was delicious, cooked perfectly. We all enjoyed our dinners. Looking forward to going back.

We dined on a Friday night at 5 pm with friends. The noise level was just right at that time- and they were starting to fill up. Our server was good. Our dinners were delicious- I had rainbow trout, my husband had prime rib, our friends each had one of the “bowls”. For dessert I shared the orange cake- absolutely outstanding! By the time we left at 7 pm, the noise level was loud- hard to hear my friends talking. But- it WAS a Friday night. My only complaint- if you wanted bread with your salad or meal, it cost around $4.50. That bothered me- we didn't order any. My bill was $100 for 2 people- and no complimentary bread!

Our "go-to" near University Ave. Sarasota. Always the nicest wait staff. (William last night) You can see they have a team approach from wait staff, bar staff, people serving your food. Attentive and obliging.

This was one of the restaurants we chose during our spring break vacation. My wife had the blackened chicken pasta. Our kids had the sirloin steak and bacon & bourbon jam burger, and I had the prime rib. The food was good, but not great. I made the mistake of ordering the prime rib medium when I should've gotten it medium rare. It was not the most tender portion I've had. We had no issues with the taste or presentation. It just did not stand out to us. The service was fine and the pricing was quite good. Would we go back for the price we paid? Yes.

Service wasn't great...but the restaurant was very busy so I can understand a bit. I had the shrimp and scallop grill and it was a bit salty. Not the best experience we've had at Stonewood but will not prevent us from coming back

Our server, Josh, was friendly, efficient and prompt. The new Sea Bass entree was outstanding, and the Bruchetta was excellent also. We got to use our new gift card and promotional bonus card, so it was a great meal all around!
Chicken Marsala gnocchi- the worst Marsala sauce I have ever had. The gnocchi was dry and inedible. The chicken was moist. The broccoli was good. The French onion soup was delicious as always.
