Their smoked pork burrito is the bomb, and I don't day that lightly. There spice is just the right amount of flavor and tingle and if you want it hotter they can accommodate. The proportion, is enough to feed more than the average man. Worth the visit!

the food is delicious! authentic and perfect steak and pulled pork with the salsa options on real street tacos and the shrimp ceviche tostada was fresh and satisfying. kid approved as well for our vegetarian daughter with an impressive number of vegetarian options. It was so good and so worth it for the drive to eat some REAL food!

I LOVED the vegan burrito! I didn't expect it to be so huge, it was enough for 2 if not 3 meals for me. Definitely one of the most unique vegan burritos I've ever had. Can't wait to try the taco's!

Dish: Carne asada taco plate01MAR24First Impressions:This small restaurant in Valparaiso had caught my eye on several occasions, so I decided to give it a try for lunch. The price point was a bit high at over $18 for the taco plate and a drink, and the restaurant employed a self-service system for utensils, bussing tables, and drink refills and requested a tip.The Food:The presentation was impressive. The plate arrived piled high with neatly cut pieces of beef on tortillas. However, the taste fell far short of expectations. The meat was bland, and the accompanying rice and beans lacked any distinct flavor, seemingly cooked in plain water only. I tried to enjoy a taco, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell flat, no love here.Disappointment and a Glimpse of Hope:Despite the positive reviews from both new and experienced foodies, my experience was underwhelming. I left the restaurant and went elsewhere for lunch. Interestingly, the owner noticed my departure and kindly offered a refund. Knowing the potential impact on a small business, I declined. However, I will give the restaurant another chance and try the pork dish in the future, hoping this was simply an off day - maybe Fridays are bad.Overall:While the service was friendly, this initial visit to Guaco Taco was disappointing due to the bland and uninspired food. After some time, I will return to try a different dish, hoping for a more positive experience and will correct this review if different.

Don't get me wrong, "Guaco Taco" really IS good food. The problem for me is that they don't give enough salsa for your chips, and (just me personally) they could season it a bit more. I understand it's "authentic" Mexican ?? cuisine, so I'm not expecting Tex Mex.I'd just prefer more taste. Also, it's a bit pricey for me.As a whole, once a week or twice a a month it's a decent little spot.

What a nice find! I passed by this unassuming place many times and finally decided to stop. I'm glad I did! The food was fresh and authentic. An employee recommended the pork taco plate and it was great choice!
