Vegan eggplant - the eggplant itself was the problem. Very poorly prepared and maybe not fresh? For $20. Texture rubbery, taste difficult to swallow. I chose sparkling water to avoid tap, thinking it would be by the glass- instead was charged $7 for a large bottle i could only drink half of

I’ve been to Côté France for lunch, Sunday brunch, and dinner. The food is always incredible, probably the best restaurant I found in Venice. Service is impeccable. The menu special’s are always creative and change on a regular basis. My go to are the Hot Camembert to start, Duck Breast as a main course (except when there is a lamb special), and to finish their wonderful homemade Lava Cake. Can’t wait to be back again soon, kudos to the Chef and Staff !

Top notch restaurantVery good French cuisine, whether it is the roasted camembert, the homemade pâté, the beef bourguignon or the mushroom parmesan scallop risotto. Everything was perfect. Good French wines are offered. The staff takes great care.A visit to this Venice restaurant is a must.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here! The lobster bisque was delicious, as well as the Branzino fish was prepared and tasted wonderful. And for dessert Crepe Suzette to finish off the night! Would definitely go here again!

Brunch at a charming spot offered a delightful escape, especially on the second floor—a hit with the kids. Our server, hailing from France, brought an authentic touch with his accent, enhancing the ambiance. The food, from crêpes enhanced with eggs to the impeccably prepared tuna tart, was a culinary joy. Looking forward to returning for their dinner offerings—a promising venture into French gastronomy. Would heartily recommend the crêpes for a taste of France in Venice, Florida.

Excellent service, 10/10 food. True French gourmet at reasonable prices. Every sauce is perfect. The bread is real French crispy baguette. The salad is the best salad I’ve had in my life. The three meals we got were all amazing. This place is a marvel. I just wish I lived nearby so that I could eat here every day

Mixed Review: Our soup & salad was delicious. My tile fish entree was also very tasty. My husband’s dinner was delivered ice cold when served to him. Very disappointing. El Cote also needs a broader & better quality wine selection. Additionally, we ordered dessert, a blueberry torte to share. The crust was so tough we could not even cut it with a knife! Also they asked when we made our reservation if it was a special occasion and we said yes it was our anniversary. I am not sure why they ask because there wasn’t anything offered to us for our anniversary. A complementary glass of wine, a free small appetizer or chocolates candies at the end of dinner. Just a little something that goes a long way with people & makes them want to come back, plus tell others about their wonderful experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheel chair accessible unless you eat outside.

This is French food. Amazing food, from the Foie Gras appetizer to the duck confit. The service was spot on and the atmosphere is French Cafe.A true gem.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Venice. The escargot and risotto with scallops = chef’s kiss!

I guess we just got the luck of the draw. Cold butter we couldn’t use, soup that tasted like water, inedible entre. Looking at the other reviews maybe we will try it again another time.

If you haven't been to Cote France, you are missing a delightful experience. Their dinners are amazing and brunch is incredible. Today we enjoyed at this darling restaurant quiche Lorraine and Eggs Benedict. So delicious. The staff is warm and charming from the moment you want in to the moment you leave. After you experience a meal there, you'll be looking at your calendar for a return date. Thank you Thomas and staff. Always a pleasure.

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in a long time!! It's very authentic to the restaurants you find in Europe, small and cozy with amazing food. Everything was very thoughtfully prepared from the cheese plate starter to dessert. Definitely make a reservation because there aren't many tables. We ate inside on ground floor but they have a few more tables upstairs and a few tiny tables outside. I highly recommend!

The escargot & French onion soup were outstanding. My husband and I both had the duck which was delicious. The lemon crêpe had just the right amount of tartness with sweetness, and the profiteroles were a big hit as well. For a true feeling of France, I would highly recommend Cote France!
