Excellent food and service! We had the shrimp tacos and fajitas. Funny talking parrot out front. The kids loved it.

I was on a mission to find really good Mexican food in Venice. This restaurant exceeded my hope because they have the one menu item that is seldom done well: tamales! Hard to say enough about their succulent tamales except best I ever ate. The rest of our meals were also outstanding. My wife raved about her margarita. Then, we capped it off with a good sopapilla with honey of course. The atmosphere was just right for us--clean and neat. Our waiter Sammy was a lot of fun and gave us great service. I'll probably be sorry I wrote this because they'll probably get real busy. . . but they deserve to!

Our server, James, spilled one of the margaritas when he was serving our drinks. When we asked for napkins to clean it up our request was ignored. After about 10 minutes, the server returned with a roll of paper towel and set it on the table. When we requested water, that was also spilled when placed on the table. The food was good but it was not the best experience.

It’s seldom I would give a restaurant such poor ratings unless it’s warranted. I am vegetarian have been my whole life. After explaining to our server I orders Veggie fajitas, as I was told all the vegetarian dishes that have beans are not vegetarian even though it says clearly it should be and Long Island ice tea. And my husband ordered spinach enchiladas.. my ice tea tasted like run and coke, and my sizzling veggies have pice of chicken. So I send it back also I got three tortillas with my meal by the time those veggies came back we were done. My husband was done his meal and I had ate two tortillas with the salad that they gave me. No Apologies that I had to wait absolutely no concern for the service. It’s unfortunate I was super excited. Moral of the story if you are vegetarian don’t go here
Recommended dishes: With Rice and Beans, Sauce, Chicken Burrito

I just happened to stumble upon this place and I'm happy I did! The food was great, I got the fajitas! I liked the complimentary chips and salsa! The service was great! And the atmosphere was very cute. I loved the Golden Macow, Paco, I believe was his name. I stopped by to say hi to him, he was in his cage right by the entrance door, on my way inside. On my way into the restaurant he said "bye" to me.... great touch!

Good food good atmosphere but the server just started bringing us drinks to our table without an order for them. We thought maybe he was being generous but no, we were charged. Kinda uncool but I guess our fault?

I went for lunch and got the Camerones Diavolo, which is spicy shrimp. It came with refried beans, rice, and tortillas. It was so good, and the waiter was friendly. I will be back!
