Excellent shrimp tacos and grouper tacos! Their jumbo shrimp is NOT jumbo by any means - tried 3 separate times - VERY SALTY batter and small shrimp covered in batter. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have eaten one all 3 times and couldnt bring myself to eat more and shrimp is my favorite.The wait staff is excellent - Kylie is the best! The bartenders are cranky and unfriendly especially the tall blonde woman! Her comments are rude, short and i have not seen her smile ever!Awesome variety of appetizers, oysters rockefeller are great! Our waitress that was going to see the chain smokers in Miami was great. The hostesses can be nice and not.Two drinks which were finished in one big gulp were $22 - if it wasn't all ice, it would have been worth it. We had the Maine lobster - I make it a lot and there is no way they were 5-6 oz - I’m guessing 3.The atmosphere and wait staff are great. I love the space! The food is average. Drinks and bartenders need great improvement. The seafood chowder was good and hot. Fresh veggies were limp and bland. Coleslaw needed some flavor - tasted like plain cabbage. The red potatoes were cooked well but bland too. The salad was very wet and I would like better dressing options.I would go back for wait staff and space.

Dockside waterfront grill is located. Right on the water, excellent view of all the boats.We had a party of 4, We ordered the red snapper , shrimp dinner, scallop dinner, and chicken parmesan. Food and service were very good. Definitely a place to visit.

We were in Venice last week and had dinner at Dockside. It was fantastic! Did call ahead, got a table in the dining room, along the windows. Our server (TiffanyM) was wonderful. Polite, prompt, answered our many questions.I had the fresh catch, blackened. Asparagus as the side. My wife had the crab cake + scallops combo. Everything was perfect.Combine the views, the great service, and the fantastic dinner ... makes this restaurant next level! I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Loved this restaurant, right on the water & I loved that you can bring your dogs in the open air section.Parking: It's a little tricky trying to figure out how to get to it from the road.
This place is only popular due to its location on the water. Food is okay and service is poor. The hostess at the front was rude and put no effort into finding us a good seat. I had to find our own then asked to be moved. We ordered a beer and then asked for a Rum Runner to be brought with the food. The food was brought out by someone else with no drink. Our waiter was taking other orders and we got no service. I asked another waitress for the drink. Finished my food before our waiter finally showed up with the drink. He knew it was so late that he asked if I still wanted it. I said no. Zero service the whole time. Too many better choices in the area to come back here.

Wife and I had lunch there today (4/9/24). Lovely breeze and partial marina view from patio. Waitress said fish of the day was grouper, and that it was fresh. Wife had grouper Reuben: was dry, tough, and a little fishy…. very disappointing. I had grouper sandwich (fried) and I don’t believe the grouper was fresh. Moderately disappointing. Will not return.

You are paying for more than just the view; the food is pretty delicious. We had the strawberry jalapeño pitcher, breakfast tacos, and shrimp & grits. Our server was excellent! She was attentive and available just enough if we needed something she was on it. The margaritas were delicious; my only recommendation and this is a personal preference on heat, was jalapeños could have been muddled a bit more. My husband ordered the breakfast tacos. He said, they were excellent! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and his only recommendation a little more seasoning on the diced red potato side dish. My Shrimp & grits were perfect! We will be back?
