This place has excellent food. My go-to myself is a Shrimp Quesadilla with cheese and jalapeños, accompanied by that lovely Baja Sauce. Also I heavily recommend trying the chronic fries with Carne Asada, rice, beans, cilantro, pico de gallo, queso, regular cheese jalapeños, and a hearty coating of the Baja sauce.Service can be a bit on the slow side if you want anything beyond what they have here in the bins up front but well worth the wait once the food graces your presence.

The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. While we had enough to eat with 2 tacos each, we originally tried order the two taco plate with rice. The staff member waiting on us had a difficult time fully understanding our order. I do not believe she's really comfortable with English yet, but she was very friendly.

Went here around 2pm today and ordered a mahi bowl. While waiting a ridiculously long time for the mahi to be made, my mother and I witnessed the unkept cook talk through the window to the server, cough right out loud, barely into his barely gloved hand. A piece of food flew out of his mouth and onto the counter between the window of the kitchen and the service area. The server handed him a piece of wax paper to wipe down the counter and the piece of food that came from his mouth which he just ground into the counter. He then proceeded to just put my finally finished food up on that same counter which his unwashed hands to be served to me. I said I would not take it and left. I have never seen such disgusting practices in a food establishment in my life and am completely horrified.

From the moment one steps into Chronic Tacos, it's as if you're transported to a realm where the vibrant spirits of Mexican ancestors linger, their centuries of culinary mastery infused in every bite. Each taco is not just a meal; it's a testament to a rich, enduring heritage, a culinary craft honed to perfection over generations. It's said that the spices used here are not merely for flavor; they carry a magic of their own. Daring to indulge in the spiciest options on their menu bestows upon the diner an extraordinary boon - a surge of charisma and a sharpened intellect, as if the fiery zest imbues them with a +3 to charisma and +2 to intelligence. This isn't just food; it's an enchanting experience, a bridge to a proud, flavorful past. Every visit to Chronic Tacos feels like a tribute to those ancestral chefs who dedicated their lives to the art of the perfect taco, making each bite a journey through time and taste.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean and the food was great. I know people compare this place to Chipotle because it's a build your own type of menu, but it blows them away..the food is flavorful and, in my opinion, a lot closer to authentic. One thing I enjoyed was the choices of sauces. They had the usual Cholula and Tampico, but they also had their own house sauces, which the hot was actually kinda hot and that's a rarity. We're definitely going back.

Yes, almost end of 2023:-0 HOW TIME FLIES WHEN YOUR EATING GOOD! For a Quick GFree Burrito, Bowl a Meet And Greet Happy Friendly People.Chronic Tacos is still my favorite here in Vero Bch. They Heat The Tortillas While You Watch. Choose all the ingredients you like. Fresh while you walk behind the glass partition for cleanliness. The Staff wears gloves while serving your food. A large restaurant with vibrant murals. It's a delicious,Mexican decor. Not forgetting the Traditional Hispanic Culture. I've always enjoyed the plentiful servings. Drink self serve of teas and sodas. I suggest the Red Fried Beans. On my previous visit. I had the regular red beans they were very soupy(no substance, runny, watery, bland)-: --Think you get the idea. First time with the runny, flavorless beans. *** I'll revisit and ask the server about the red or pinto beans. *** I Always Give People The Benefit Of The Doubt. If you don't get good results?*** Then, Tome To Look At YELP REVIEWS:-)I sincerely recomend this place. They Have Mon, Tuesday and Wednesday. ---GREAT SPECIALS:-)

We would go here every other day.... however the last 4 times we have been there the salsa was HORRIBLE.And every time they are making the portions smaller and smaller. And for $15 chronic fries. To fill up the container a quarter to half is not worth it at all. Especially since the ingredients are cheap. If they don't change that quick they will be loosing alot of business as many of our friends have complained of the same thing.

First time here. Waited for order to be taken so I had plenty of time to read the menu and make a decision. Food was okay. Not hot but warm-esque by the time I sat down to eat. Same went with the Featured Street Corn. Lots of sauce on warm corn. A solid 3 for the food. Atmosphere was a 5 I felt. Clean and inviting.
