The food is fabulous, the atmosphere very pleasant, but when we asked for a piece of bread for my friend who was experiencing a drop in blood sugar (diabetic) the only thing we were offered was to purchase one of two bread choices. She just needed a couple of bites to bring up her blood sugar. This seems insensitive since the meals take so long to prepare.

The host greeted us warmly and was hospitable, but things went sideways from there. We ordered our meal and my husband asked if there was butter in the dish he ordered. The waitress said she would check. She came back and said there was butter in every dish and the chef/owner was too busy to make any substitutions. What choice did we have but to leave. We had been to Kitty’s previous restaurant, Blue Star, many times with no issues. Won’t be returning to this one.

We decided to meet at 7:00 pm for dinner at Kitty’s This was my second time back bringing 2 friends who have never been there. We waited out front for around 20 minutes as they do not take reservations. The place was full on a Tuesday evening. We sat down and were greeted by waiter Clint. After ordering 3 glasses of wine we put our dinner request of 3 orders of their delicious scallop dinner. 10 minutes later Clint returned to tell us the scallops were sold out ?. We ordered 2 duck specials and the sword fish ?.

We have been wanting to try Kittys for a while now. Finally made it there. Everything was done to perfection. We started with a bottle of red blend and escargot. It was absolutely delicious. I ordered the scallops and my husband ordered the chicken scallopine. The scallops were cooked perfectly and chicken was mosit and flavorful. Our server was outstanding and we topped it off with a chocolate Carmel tart. If you enjoy fine dinning you must go! It is pricey but well worth it.

This was our first time at Kitty's and the second time for the couple who accompanied us. We had high expectations but were unfortunately disappointed. We were promptly greeted and seated as the restaurant wasn't full. It took some time for the server to great us at our table and she apologized for the delay. We ordered wine and appetizers, both good. When it came time to order our meals my wife didn't want the crumbled cheese on her scallops and our server said that it was up to Kitty if she would serve the dish, as requested. She didn't agree. When the four entrees were served the lamb was overcooked; the swordfish was barely warm and the two chicken dishes lacked flavor and the chicken was overcooked. When the issue with the lamb was brought to the servers attention (it was cooked medium well instead of medium rare) she went back to the kitchen and the matter was never addressed. We passed on deserts and lamented our decision to try Kitty's. Every place has a bad night or two but this is not a fine dining establishment on its best day. Paper napkins, no table clothes, tables are too close together and it's very loud. All issues pointed out by other reviewers. The price is extreme for the quality of the food, the service and the ambiance, or lack there of.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Food was served from the left and cleared from the right. The wine was properly handled. The scallop (4-U10) entree was very good. Personally, I present odd numbers like five on an entry, not four. Specials looked excellent and were well enjoyed by a neighboring table of four. Entrees appear/are carefully prepared, imaginative and the scallop dish was delicious. No bread. Paper napkins, no table cloth. Upon asking for bread, four small wedges of flat pita were presented. No dessert menu nor after dinner beverage menu presented. Coffee was okay, but okay cappuccino was for $10 and a double espresso was $16…very high-priced. I asked for a twist of lemon…answer is “we have no fruit”. Kitty’s needs to up their basics and improve the coffee at a much better price point. Also, it is very loud as to the small space and hard walls and most of the ceiling. Very loud to the point of having to speak loudly across the small table to converse. It was popular on this Friday night with up-scale diners…the place did very well this evening but needs some improvements. However, Kitty’s will do well as to the quality of the entry.

If you can find Kitty's, it's a spectacular dining experience! Tonight we feasted on Fois Gras, Beet Gazpacho, Burrata salad, Sweet Breads, Rabbit and Halibut. All were scrumptious! The service was excellent. We will be back!

Sweet little secret spot for dinner & drinks. Obviously the best Vero restaurant. We went 2 nights in a row.

Daniel and kitty were wonderful. Being here was an experience and they are so friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional and I can't compare it to any I've had before. Coming here was the best choice, absolutely give this place a tryY

Food is first rate, service attentive. I have 2 suggestions, we arrived shortly after their 5 PM opening. The restaurant already had 2 or 3 tables with diners. The guy who seated us gave us a nice table for 2 (small and close to other tables), then he sat 3 louder than us diners directly next to us when there were many other tables they could have gone to. After our second glass of wine it didn't matter as much but it felt like his interest was making it more convenient for servers, not the diners. We felt stacked in when it wasn't yet necessary. Other suggestion is for servers. Stop inferring your part of our group with "what would WE like for dinner?" Made us feel patronized and like children. Treat us like the adults we are who can afford a $200+ dinner for two, with respect. With these 2 suggestions taken to heart, Kitty's is the top restaurant in Vero!

Small OVERPRICED dishes! I mean everywhere is expensive anymore but the portion size is what matters in this case if you’re hungry don’t come here. The food was okay really not so much so that I would wait around for it again. If you don’t have to wait and you can just walk in and sit it is pretty much the same as anywhere else, nothing special for that price. Parking sucks as the parking lot is small, for a truck. SAKE next door is much better food at a more reasonable price per portion, if you like Japanese…Parking: Not enough parking in a very narrow parking lot. There is however parking down the road that is more accommodating and you can just walk… though again I wouldn’t recommend this place personally.

Food is excellent! Service...not so good. Waitress Forget to place the order for 1 of our desserts. Brought us the wrong check! But what really irritated me was after dinner the server asked if we want coffee, espresso, etc... and so Me & my father each asked for a double espresso. Now the server never said "we don't do doubles & so I'll have to charge you for 2 espressos each! Which is what she did & of course you can understand my shock when I found out I paid $16 for 1 double espresso & $32 for 2!!You gotta be joking, right?! That's highway robbery! Espresso at the Four seasons & Ritz Carlton is only $7 last time I was there & $10 for a double! For $16 I should of had it served in a 24k gold cup! Lol!I didn't realize this till I got home. And I wanted to call them to find out - maybe the server just didn't know how to charge for a double espresso & perhaps mistakenly charged us for 4. But their establishment has no phone number. No means of contact. Unless you go in person! And now they are closed for a month. My advice is get the food & pass on the coffee!
