omg. I have NOTHING but good things to say about this place! I actually lived in Hawaii for quite a few years and the food is pretty spot on. I've been to other "authentic" Hawaiian places on mainland and nothing touches this spot. My husband had the loco moco and it really made us nostalgic for Zippy's and L & L (if you know, you know) but it was significantly better! I had the mushroom plate and it was MOUTH WATERING and more importantly, FILLING! They also had POG! I'm crying with joy and sadness thinking about it because they are temporarily closed BUT you can bet i'll be right in line to eat there again when they're open again. I really wanted to try their other veggie friend options! Maybe they'll have a veg friendly musubi option with the reopen? Who knows, but I sure hope so!

We saw the Ono Luau fire show in April 2021 based on a recommendation from a friend. We weren’t sure what to expect (especially how our two young kiddos would handle it) and were very impressed by the warm welcome, the talented performers, and the fantastic food! Our whole family had an absolute blast and will definitely come back anytime we visit Vero Beach!

We tried this place on a recommendation as we were told the food was amazing. It is very casual and has live music and courtyard seating. I ordered Sangria and my husband got a bloody mary to start. The Sangria was awful (tasted like watery, cheap wine), but the Bloody Mary was just ok. My husband ordered tacos and I got Mahi. Both were good and we had coconut rice as a side. Dinner was good, but nothing exceptional, however the service was exceptionally slow. It appeared that they were understaffed. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you are in the area and just want an ok dinner it will do.

Wow!!! So glad we stopped in on a whim. David was fantastic and the food was out of this world. We will be making the hour drive again soon, even if just for the fried pickles.

Great poke bowls. Nice decorations outside dinning. Friendly staff.

MAHALO! I must say we were driving in looking for something local and different. We didn't realize the Hawaiian Islands existed in Vero beach. What an absolute gem! You walk in to a unique dining experience of feeling like your in an island restaurant. The owners are the only employees. The chef creates classic Hawaiian dishes such as Poke bowls. The owner was fun and engaging at times too engaging lol. It was a quiet night near closing. The food was amazing. We ordered the Hawaiian hummus and conch fritters as Pupus( appetizers) . Both were amazing. For entrees my brother got Loco moco with the hippie mushroom stash and I had the hapa mix poke bowl with coconut rice. Overall you won't be disappointed

We have spent a lot of time in HI and still have lots of family there. I gotta be honest, I thought, "Hawaiian food in Florida? Not a chance." I was wrong - great food, great menu, great owners all set in a courtyard outdoor dining in downtown Vero. They got some great entrees but my go-to menu item is the fried rice with spam...oh my! If you want to eat healthy, they got it. If you want to eat Hawaiian "beega-boy" style, they got it.

I've been very apprehensive to eat out during Covid but we decided to try this restaurant on a Sunday night since it appeared to be a safe option. We were impressed with the spacing of the outdoor tables and felt very comfortable. Our waiter wore a mask the whole time. The food was wonderful and we will definitely be returning. It was a great experience.

Great food. Ribs and coconut rice are amazing. My favorite breakfast can be found here, coconut banana s foster French toast...YUM! Service can and probably will be slow though.

This restaurant is full of pleasant surprises! We came on a Friday night and the host was kindly able to find us a place for the weekly Friday Fire Show that we were unaware of before coming. We came because we heard the hype about how good and authentic the food was and we can firmly say the food lives up to the hype! Tastes just like if not better than some of the food we’ve had in Hawaii. Absolutely delicious and the service was great as well. And of course, the fire show was fantastic! Such a great atmosphere; this place is a great way to spend a date night. Can’t wait to come back in the future!

Such an amazing little hole in the wall in Vero. We had the tacos and the pork with coconut rice- oh my goodness so delicious!! I’m so glad we tried it out! The outside patio is also adorable!

Here for a very special birthday and there are 2 workers on a Saturday. We have been here 1.5 hours, no service had to get up and ask for silverware, then napkins. Went 30 mins with nothing to drink after first and second round. I feel so sorry for these two guys but also for ourselves. We are going to leave and have to start over at another restaurant with our gifts and cake. There are multiple numerous dirty tables that have not been cleaned so I can’t imagine the kitchen has been clean. We would have spent $100’s and instead they argued profusely with us about the time that we arrived and when we ordered. I had to go ask for a glass for beer bottle and napkins and silverware for appetizers. And twice had to ask for our drinks, there were 8 adults and 7 little girls.

I went here on a whim on a Sunday! it was definitely a slow day because there was only one other couple there but with all that working against my expectations, they still managed to supersede them! The Live Music was authentic and wonderful which took me back to my Hawaiian vacation! the flavors of the poke bowl compliment one another so well, i was very impressed, especially since I am not a huge fan of poke bowls usually! (that should say a lot) Overall, very surprised and very impressed!
