I was very excited to try this Italian-American restaurant. Had heard very good things about the food.My experience was mixed. The app and wine were decent, but one of our meals was burnt and dry. When I tried it-was surprised that they would send something out that-in my opinion was inedible. We sent it back and replaced with something else, which I’m hesitant to say the server was happy about.Because Darios came highly recommended and it’s expensive-my expectations were high. That said, Cooks and kitchen staff are the hardest working people around and can make a mistake.I’ve had such amazing Italian food in other places though, this one is hard for me to recommend.

I took my wife to dinner last night when we entered the place was very elegant however things went downhill after that. Service was terrible we sat for 10 minutes without even a glass of water. The silverware was dirty and my wife's glass had lipstick on it. My wife ordered the beet salad which only contained 2 pieces of beets. For her entree she ordered the lobster ravioli. Presentation was terrible it looked like they threw it on the plate. I ordered veal parm and seafood resoto. My veal looked like a kids meal and Presentation was terrible 4 bites and that was it for the veal. The resoto was more seafood and three spoons of resoto again horrible Presentation. The place should not have more than 2stars. Never again good luck

Never disappoints how good the meals are, just wish they could do something about how loud it is in the dining areas.

This Italian restaurant was truly exceptional. Every aspect, from the cuisine to the service, was of the highest caliber. The intimate interior dining area, with its soft lighting, created a romantic ambiance that perfectly complemented the exquisite cuisine. The service was impeccable, with Bernard providing outstanding attention to detail. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating facing towards the ocean, as well as a bar and private dining area for special occasions. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and the meal was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning in the future.Vegetarian options: They will try and cater to the vegetarian or vegan dietDietary restrictions: They will try and cater or suggest dishes for any dietary restrictions you may have.

My favorite TRUE Italian place to visit. Everyone there makes you feel like your home. The food is fantastic, wine selection is pleasing, and the owner ,Dario is a very personnel Man who actually interacts with all his guests. I took my wife for Easter 2024 and we're going back this next Sunday again. I can't get enough.

So get there with a reservation, hostess hates here job. The food wasn't even good. The waiter was horrible didn't even get a wine list, not even offered a desert, double charged us a meal and we had to find him to get another drink. Place is full of Old Old people. Nope never again!

Lovely restaurant located on ocean drive. Clean, Nice ambiance, servers in semi formal wear, white tablecloths. Two negatives right away. The 2 hostesses at the front were not welcoming at all…. And for such an upscale restaurant, one of them was dressed super casually in jeans. It was off putting to start our experience greeted this way. Both gave us a look that we were disturbing them . This is not a welcoming greeting to customers who come to spend a good deal of money. The other immediate bad thing was a horrible smell in the building. After being seated, the bus boy was filling our water glasses. When asked about the smell, we were told they were doing roof repairs and we immediately recognized that smell of burning TAR. We asked our server about it and he also offered no apology. We should have left the restaurant then. The smell was all permeating.Cocktails were good but we had to ask specifically if there was a full bar. It was then our server asked if we would like a menu for cocktails. My ITALIAN MARGARITA was served in a scotch glass! Mediocre wine list arrives with the food menu. Bread arrives with a small ramekin of an infused oil. Although we left the basket open when we had finished the bread with our drinks and appetizer, no refill on the bread was offered for the remainder of the courses. We both had the grilled octopus appetizer. Nice presentation, but small portions of the octopus. Caesar salad was not cold and crisp and mildly soggy from the dressing. The homemade gnochhi were not pillow soft and was served with too much of the red sauce. My husband had the cioppino. The mussels were “off” ( bad? Not fresh?) which also affected the cioppino broth. We told our server, but all he said was that he would tell the kitchen. My husband was offered no alternative even though he left the remainder of the meal untouched.Lastly, we had booked reservations online where you are asked if this is for an occasion and to leave remark on what the occasion is. Ours was clearly articulated that it was a birthday and our anniversary (yes, same day). Not one staff made any acknowledgment to our celebration. Dario did not stop by our table to offer greetings although he was stopping by many tables to chat ….. No dessert offered, neither a liquor.People that come here are spending a good amount of money…..to have a good total experience. Neither the owner, the staff, or the food project anything to give you a feeling that you have been well appreciated. I chose to point this out to Dario. He actually went to check our reservation online to check if we had indeed made these notations. I will take my money elsewhere and I will not recommend this establishment.

Food was very good but the portions were on the small side. Filet was cooked to perfection. Waiter was spot on in terms of service. Tables were very nicely spaced and noise level was very low.Parking: Available and close.

We have been to Trattoria Dario's before and this time the food was even better. Our server and all the staff who came to our table were wonderful. We enjoyed ourselves very much and plan to come back again.

Trattoria Dario really never disappoints. They made the birthday we were celebrating feel very special. Always great service. Food is amazing. Their pasta is excellent but I like the steaks and the Salmon Crudo, huge portion alert! Our party enjoyed the hearty dessert selection, we chose cheese cake, Key Lime pie, Crème brûlée and the hazelnut gelato. What a wonderful night. The Bison rib eye was perfectly prepared, sadly it was only a special on the menu that night. Make a reservation and enjoy.

The food was delicious and the waiter was very helpful and gave great service. Only difficulty was hearing everyone in our group of five adults but eventually the noise level decreased as the time passed.
