Let me start by saying this is a Disney Resort. From the moment you enter the building, the experience begins. The grounds and atmosphere are beautiful. You will feel like you are they on vacation. Some of you might be but I 'm lucky enough to be a local. We had a 5pm reservation and were seated promptly. The host and the server were very friendly and accommodating. For an appetizer the table shared shrimp hush puppies. They were served with tasty sauces to choose from. I also had French onion soup which was cheesy and had a tasty broth and chock full of onions. I had the hamburger which was cooked perfectly and all of the extra ingredients it was a taste sensation. My wife had the NY Strip which was cooked to perfection and according to her, very delicious. For dessert we had the bread pudding and termasu. Both were very good. Overall, I would recommend checking it out whether you are a hotel guest or just a local like myself.

Hello ! Today was a very special day, my family took me to this very beautiful place. The food was wonderful, tasty and so special. I would recommend it highly. The service was excellent, the dining area was beautiful, and the prices were reasonable. For a quality place to celebrate, give it a try.

We are Disney Vacation Club members. We always dine here our last night. Tonight the food was very good. It was being deferred to the breezeway that was an absolute bummer. The breezeway has become catch-all seating throughout the day and unfortunately, this promotes much less than casual dining attire for some at dinner time. We dressed nicely for our last night at this special place for us. Our neighbors were in bathings suits and cover-ups. Another neighboring table had been "over served" and was arguing loudly throughout our dinner. It was a sad end to an otherwise lovely vacation. If you book a reservation try to designate dining room and not the breezeway.

We were early for our breakfast reservation and was seated right away by a very friendly hostess! Our waitress, Monica, was friendly and attentive. Food was quick and delicious! Beautiful dining room in a beautiful hotel!

Always enjoy going to the Wind and waves at Vero. The service is outstanding and the restaurant is quiet. Only issue I have is my main issue with any Disney restaurant. The portions continue to shrink while the prices continue to rise.

Had a great meal and wonderful service from Mamie. We were not rushed at all and had a nice leisurely dinner. We each had one of the specials of the night and thoroughly enjoyed them. We always make sure to dine here on our visits.

Great specials, rest of the menu is good, but specials are great. Good selection of beer, wine and drinks. And always save room for dessert! Make reservations ahead of time when you can, always helps. All the kitchen staff and servers are phenomenal. We thought about going into town to eat but realized we didn't need to as we enjoyed all three nights at Wind and Waves so much. Don't forget your DVC discount if you are a member. Recommended.

The sesame mahi mahi was very tasty, however it was a bit too spicy for my taste with the red pepper. My recommendation is to have the symbol on the menu that this dish is spicy. I coughed throughout the meal. Otherwise, the other three entrees were very good.

Our group of 8 was not seated until 20 min after our reservation time. It was another 10 min before we had a server. One member ordered a glass of house wine. It was $15, more than several brand wines in the menu. Food was tasty but delivered lukewarm. Would not recommend for dinner.

Our table was in a quiet spot. Service was fine - drinks were a bit slow. I had asked for my wine with dinner and not quarter of the way through. Half of us had the shrimp and grits which was good. I had the steak with potatoes which was tasty. I had asked for the onion sauce on the side - good choice since it did not add to the meal. Overall everything was a bit saltier than it needed to be. Key Lime pie was not very tasty at all. But overall for a dining experience it was good.

We were disappointed with fish and chips. No coleslaw with it or any fruit or veggies. Mounds of fries. The fish was okay. For $26 we felt it way overpriced. Our waitress was great.

So disappointed in the dinner- we used to enjoy it there. The only items that were actually good were the bread basket and french onion soup. The Bacon & Egg was terrible (not at all like Steakhouse 71/aka The Wave)- not only was the pork belly soggy with weird flavor, but even the server commented that most others don't like it either; we sent it back. The burger meat tasted 'off', and the onion rings were SO greasy we couldn't eat them. Two in our family got the fish & chips- some pieces were okay, but some were incredibly 'fishy', tasted not fresh or tasty. We love to stay at DVB, but we will be looking elsewhere for dinners. We tried it for breakfast the next morning, and though it was better, still well below what it should be and used to be- trying somewhere else next time.

The food was delicious although the menu wasn't was I expected. They don't crowd tables in there so you have your own space. As always, Disney shines through with excellent service too
