I really enjoyed the food here when they first opened, but I guess the honeymoon is over! I was blatantly disgusted going there today after about 6 months. My chicken salad was runny, there was not even enough to spread to all corners of the bread. The sandwich was thrown together, my bread had red splotches on it when I hadn’t ordered any tomatoes and there was nothing red in my salad. Then they didn’t even take the time to ensure the sandwich was cut all the way through; I had to do that myself… and not for nothing but it’s not like they were super busy. Also the pasta salad, bland and tasteless… thankful for the pickle which helped it along and made it palatable. So disappointed ? especially since I had been bragging to my daughter about how yummy the food was there… again, I hadn’t been in about six months and obviously big things have happened since my last visit! I won’t even bother with the service because that’s never been top notch… quiet, unfriendly, unwelcoming people always at the window.

The whole thing fell flat for me . Nothing I couldn’t make at home in my own kitchen . Also the sandwiches had different amounts of chicken salad in them - one had a small amount and the other a proper

I always liked this place, but tonight I got the Fancy Nancy on Wheat bread, and unfortunately I literally only got a smear of chicken salad on my sandwich! Extremely disappointed. Took a picture as proof.

First experience was delightful! I got the Chick, comes with a sandwich, choice of a side (I got the grape salad, so yummy), pickle and a cookie for under $10! Everything was so fresh and tasted wonderful. The cashier was very friendly too. I will definitely be coming back!!

Fresh, good quality chicken salad -- with or without bread -- and soup. Broccoli salad was exceptional. I liked it as much as my own homemade version of it. Lofthouse style frosted sugar cookie is a nice touch, too.

I wanted to update my review, I've been here a number of times and the food is always great, as is the service. I was surprised that a restaurant that focuses on Chicken salad could be so good. They have a lot of options and all are good.

I visited on Veteran's Day because they offer a free combo meal to veterans. It comes with a chicken salad sandwich (or scoop), a side, dessert cookie, and fountain drink. The meal usually costs around $12.50, which is not cheap, but I was very pleased with it. The got regular chicken salad on a croissant along with fresh fruit. The sandwich goes down easy and I ate it in maybe 2 minutes and felt good and light afterwards. (oops, I forgot to add that you can get lettuce and tomato on your sandwich and the tomato comes nicely sliced like real produce)I let my daughter eat the fruit and dessert cookie. She commented about how much she liked the strawberries and grapes. In additon, she said the frosted cookie was really good.I had some soda pop, but they also has some lemonade and blue powerade in the fountain. The restaurant opens at 10:30am, is very clean, service is quick, and the bathroom is clean as well. The only recommendation I have is to look at the menu beforehand as there are twelve different types of chicken salad you can get, but I didn't know what was available, so just had the original flavor.

I live this place. Wish it was closer to me. Of course I live chicken salad. They have lots of different variations to choose from. The employees patiently describe them. The broccoli salad on the side is delicious also
