Went to Whits with my kids for some custard and couldn’t believe how dirty this place was. Seating area was dirty, ice cream and sprinkles all over the floor, tables and chairs were dirty and sticky. They should really put some more effort in cleaning the place. Even my two young kids commented on how dirty it was.Edit In response to the business reply: First off there were no customers there when we arrived and we stayed there for about 30 min and the place was still empty. Two other customers came in and took their ice cream to go. I did read the other reviews and what did become apparent is how rude your staff can be which I didn’t experience. The other reviews won’t change what I experienced being there. I understand families go and messes happen but staff should be on top of that. None of the teenagers that work there were even in the front, it’s not the customer’s job to notify staff that their place is dirty. Every table and chair was sticky and dirty. One employee actually walked in while we were eating, walked right by us, stepped on the sprinkles & ice cream covered floor and kept going, still not cleaning anything. You should take the criticism and try to make improvements instead of criticizing the way people raise their children. The lesson of the day for my kids was have good work ethic and pride in the job that you do. Your reply was very rude. I wish you all the best too!

Whit's is THE place for some yummy post lunch or dinner dessert. The staff is friendly and always patient for the boys to decide what they want between the kids menu and those are some hard choices!

So disappointing. Went with my family of 4 to get dairy free ice cream. They offer no behind the counter dairy free options. There's a couple of frozen solid oat milk choices in the freezer. The last time we went, the worker mixed in candy for us to soften it up and make it edible. Today, we were told they do not do that. Which is strange, since they did it last month. To top it off, the girl at the counter had the most disgusting attitude. Save your money. Find ice-cream elsewhere.

Planned a trip with the family to go get the daily flavor before they closed. We saw the flavor and were planning to get it the whole month since we missed that specific flavor the month before. Figures that they ran out before closing. NOT COOL.

Visited first time last night . Told the girlTaking our order it was our first time and how does “it work” since we didn’t see ice-cream flavors listed anywhere just toppings and a speciality menu . She mumbled a couple ice cream flavors and pointed to the toppings . I asked for a waffle cone with vanilla and mint topping and was told that can’t be done . She was rushing us and I ended up ordering something I didn’t want because she was very unclear with ordering instructions and didn’t care to help . I get there’s a line you have to move along on a Saturday night but the customer service fell flat for me and I will not go back

5 stars for the custard -not for the attitude-y, not helpful, lazy staff- who were (I'd used the word "working" that Sunday eve but that word doesn't apply) getting paid by the Owners to be rude.

Returned today about 4:30 and ordered two vanilla cones. We were given two dishes of custard in one bag and two empty ice cream cones in another bag. We very nicely asked the young lady working there if she would remake them into ice cream cones because we had no way of doing that in the car with a plastic spoon. I assumed the young lady was having a bad day because she really did not want to be bothered by customers. However, the custard was delicious and the serving size was generous.
