Whoever La Creación is using to cook the alcapurrias and empanadas on Friday and Saturday is doing a great job. Not once did we find an undercooked alcapurrias which did occur on some occasions. This weekend's festivities was especially fun, the music and food was just like we were back in Puerto Rico.The last visit was disappointing, the pork sandwich was not good.
I was trying La Creacion because of a friend telling me it was delicious. I ordered the triplets sandwich and it was delicious. I also ordered an empanada and a alcapurria but they were both greasy and not flavorful. Although this was a miss, I ordered a dozen pasteles (they only sell frozen) and they were super authentic. Their empanadas are juicy inside and crispy outside ! I had the chicken empanadas and the bacalaito which was perfect ! It was savory and sweet inside while still nice and crispy 10/10 highly recommend. Will be back to try more menu items ?
