I’ve only been here for breakfast and it’s always been a 5 star experience. Food is fresh. Coffee is on point. However, being a Colombian establishment, I’d rather be listening to authentic Colombian music as opposed to Beyoncé’s Single Ladies. Besides that, this place is a must when in Wesley Chapel!

Second time visiting Macondo's, the first time the cafe was very busy and didn't get a chance to really look at the menu and feel comfortable with asking questions. This time we came in right when they opened. The ambiance is so unique and inviting. It has a lot of vibrant colors. The menu is extensive and I appreciate the option to order anything on the menu at anytime of the day ( for example you can order a sandwich or wrap for breakfast). I decided to order a few items, which included the hot chocolate, the mocha cappuccino, the empanadas (ham and cheese and traditional beef), the Philly cheesesteak wrap, the croissant, the breakfast sandwich on baguette and the lemon blueberry loaf. These items were split between my family of four. Everything was very good. Our favorites were the drinks, the beef empanada and the Philly wrap. I think I would like some more spicier options but I will try to discover those at the next visit. Also, our server was so lovely and helpful!

The food was very good. Opted for the Mediterranean bowl with chicken which was flavorful and generous yet a bit pricey at $18. The seating area was very uncomfortable and the tables were not wiped down from previous guests. In asking for a to go container they did not have an adequate size and the server did not offer to assist while I struggled to box up my meal. This was even after adding a 15% gratuity at the start of ordering. The most disappointing was in trying to order just a regular cup of coffee was advised that all of their coffee was expresso based. Not likely to return.

As a truck driver (currently) I stopped by to try this Macondo Coffee Roasters, and absolutely loved it. Several things; 1. The egg and cheese croissant sandwich was simple yet delicious. 2. The Gluten-Free chocolate muffin was a nice size and wasn’t too sweet like most deserts you would order at a coffee shop. 3. The triple-macchiato was like what a macchiato suppose to be and not this giant cup of sugar with burnt coffee like a major franchise we all know ?. The macchiato was 8 oz, you can taste the richness of the coffee and the balance between milk and coffee was fantastic. 4. The girl at the register accidentally overcharged me for caramel flavor which I didn’t recognize till I sat down, so I politely asked them…in return they refunded me for the macchiato and made me another macchiato ??‍♂️ I genuinely feel bad now for saying anything. There is zero to complain about here. The food. The service. The atmosphere. Everything is amazing and it was a warming as well inviting feel to the overall coffee shop.Macondo is exactly why we the people as a whole should support small businesses instead of these corporate chains of overpriced overvalued bad quality coffee.Final note: I LOVE that they have an elegant paper menu you can look at on your own instead of reading off a mobile phone or trying to struggle looking at a menu 10 feet away ?If I am ever around this area, I definitely will come again. Thank you ?

Really cool place, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and the coffee, pastries (we’ve had the pan de bono, cranberry orange muffin, and guava and cheese lattice), and food (Fabio’s Favorite, Plus, Caprese flatbread, and every variety of empanada) were all excellent. Highly recommend a stop to try, and will likely make it a regular haunt for us.Parking: Some parking right outside, much more in lots very close by.
