Soooo sorry about this review....but as I am not a politician, honesty is my policy. On a good note, the dogs were good and the buns were good. Now, on a bad note (or notes): first, onions on hot dogs should always be minced....in other words, no big onion chunks please...the reason for this should be obvious, but if not, note that we are not ordering onions...we are ordering hot dogs with onions. Second, meat sauce or chili sauce must taste good. Please just taste the meat sauce...if it doesn't taste good, change the recipe. Third, there must be enough meat sauce on the hot dog to be able to taste it. A smattering may save you money on one hot dog but the loss of return customers will sabotage any savings by applying the sauce frugally. Lastly, the cheese....Nacho cheese belongs on.......Nachos. Sure, a few customers may want it, however, a more than a few will not...they will be looking for american cheese. Sounds like alot but all simple changes that will make the business a success.

So TJ's direct competition is Coney Island Hot Dogs. I really recommend the owner looking into their competition in terms of pricing. There's no option for just the hot dog!! A meal comes with chips and a drink but is overpriced. For example, I usually paid $3.99 for a footlong hot dog at Coney Island. Your price was $8. The hot dogs are good, so there's no issue there. The person told me it was a Nathan's Hot Dog, but I don't believe it is, but I could be wrong. Also, way too much waste on wrapping up the hot dogs. Consider just putting them in foil and paper forget the styrofoam unless including fries. A little bit of tweaking, and I think you guys can be pretty good!

Tried the Atomic hot dog level 3. Delicious flavor with heat(but it doesn't last more than 2 mins- to me). Definitely wanting to order it again and try the other dogs.

This place deserves 0 stars!! My wife and I got the Memphis, coney, and smokehouse dogs. The slaw tasted spoiled, the pork was disgusting, and the hotdogs didn't even taste as if they had been cooked. We threw them away after taking one bite. You'd be better off going to Sam's for a hotdog. We'll never visit this place again!!

Was undecided on where to eat , so TJ's Hot Dogs was the first place we looked at and then we walked the whole area checking out options then went back to TJ's and it was awesome. The lady at the counter( wish I would have got her name ) was great . She talked to us for a little while and we had a great conversation about kids place to go. We got a chili and cheese dog and a slaw dog and frys all was very good . The frys were awesome. Thank you TJ's for great food and conversation.Reggie,Stacie and Mac

Was originally excited to try it here, good menu in theory. Ordered two chili cheese dogs. And they were the blandest things I’ve ever eaten. For a place that only sells hotdogs I expected a little more. I have better hotdogs at home by a mile. Every thing was COLD from the hot dog to the chili and the nacho cheese and even hot dog bun. All canned ingredients btw. (you couldn’t make your own chili?)The fries were old cold and soggy not even fully cooked like they were made a day ago and saved. Like cmon.. It would be so easy for this place to actually be good, but it’s laziness to not actually serve hot food with attention to minimal detail. Like grill your buns and serve a WARM dog for crying out loud. Big letdown. Don’t bother spending money here.

I really wanted to like this place... I got a military discount also.I got the Chicago dog and the New York dog.The Chicago dog was overwhelmed by the pickel... (If you want a good Chicago dog go to Portillo's.) The bun was poppy seed but seem like it wasn't toasted or warmed up at all. It just seemed like it came out of a bag. The hot dog itself didn't have any flavor to it and seem like a cheap hot dog. Nothing like a Nathan's.The New York dog again had a flavorless dog and an un toasted bun. The chili was cold and seemed like it just came out of a can of Hormel chiliAtmosphere was fine the food was just not very goodThe wife got a regular dog with just ketchup. Yes, she eats like a 4-year-old.She didn't like it either

Staff are friendly and welcoming. I got the Puerto Rico dog and Cajun fries. The hot dog was really yummy but the fries were so salty I couldn’t eat more than a few. I will go back and try another hotdog and kind of fries perhaps it was just a one off.

This weekend I visited TJ's Hotdogs and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The hotdogs were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful with all my questions. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable dining atmosphere.I also appreciated the variety of toppings available, allowing me to customize my hotdog to my liking as well as the specials they have like the coney island. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the food and service provided. Overall, I highly recommend TJ's Hotdogs to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and give them a try. Their Hillbilly fries & chicago dog are to die for!

Visited this place tonight for a to go order of two hot dogs (a coney and mac/cheese dog) and Canadian fries. Went to go eat some fries and everything was cold. I was the only one in line and I must've got all their leftovers. You try different places and it turns out to be a disaster.
