I prefer to eat in a place not run by whiny lil' babies, even if their tears were delicious.

So , so far not so good. They are out of 9 beers on tap so settled for an ice tea. Then I order Hogan's Egg Rolls and I get regular Chinese egg rolls. What a joke I ask about them and the excuse is, oh, sometimes they send us the wrong item, then that should be explained to the customer ahead of time ahead of ordering them. Let's see if the Monte Christo is worth my wait........Well the flavor is there but just did not hit the mark. The "lunch meat" used in the sandwich tasted cheap and for some reason a little tough. Doubt I would return to Bennigans as it is not what it used to be.

We stopped for lunch because we saw the sign that said Lunch Specials. Disappointed to find there are only two - a half sandwich - club or monte cristo with a cup of soup. We each had the m.c. and it was pretty good. The soups were hot and about what you'd expect at a chain restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is nothing special. The service was ok. A big problem I saw as I passed the service area while returning from the restroom, was a waitress who filled two glasses by plunging them into the ice. That's a health code violation as well as a dangerous practice.

The food was good and the kitchen was very quick sending out food. The service was a little lacking. I think our waitress was new, but someone should have been helping her out I feel like.I would definitely go back though.

We stopped in for lunch on a cold winter day , first thing I asked for a cup of coffee. To my surprise they "ran out" of coffee. To warm up on this cold day I ordered the French onion soup instead. It came out Luke warm, the onions were undercooked and the cheese barely melted. I ordered the Ruben sandwich. My first reaction "where's the meat "? Lots of bread and little else. When I asked if this is how it was intended to be served the response was " we weigh our meat and that's the full 4 ounces that we put on our sandwich ". The waitress was polite and offered to have it remade, but I don't send back to the kitchen. While the food was tasty, I won't be going back.

A friend and I had lunch at Bennigan's. The food was OK, the service was good. It was hard to find healthy dishes without a lot of salt. I ordered a salad and asked that the salty stuff be left out. What I ended up with was mostly lettuce with very small pieces of other items. The positive thing is that this place is quiet enough to hold a conversation.

We was in west Melbourne FL bennigans and ordered lunch. The place had very few customers. From the time we was seated, till a server arrived was about 8 minutes. We ordered and the food service was slow. We ate our meal. And stopped waitress and ask for a to go box and ice tea to go. We got the teas but the box was forgotten. We ask again for a box and server said she forgot. We packed up and waited for our bill to arrive. Finally after 15 minutes I ask the guy for our bill, he said he would get it. Another 10 minutes and still no bill. I stopped the server ans again ask for the bill. Once again I waited another 5 minutes and thought about just leaving. Instead I got up and walked to the bar because no one was on the floor. I was ignored and finally seen my server and told her for the third time I wanted my bill or I was leaving. 4 minutes later kshe brought the check. Before she could walk away again I gave my credit card. She ran it and signed the bill and even left a tip even by this time I was highly unhappy with the service.I see others have had similar experiences. I will never return to that location again.

So much like another review on here, I was excited to see this restaurant near my hotel as I have not been to a Bennigan's in nearly 30 years. My favorite thing at this restaurant was the Montecristo sandwich and I was happy that it was still just about as good. The problem was with the rest of the meal. They were out of spinach artichoke dip so I changed over to the Hogan rolls which I specifically asked if they have those again and was told yes. What was brought out, albeit at the end of the meal, or some basic Chinese eggrolls. This is not what is on the menu and not what I asked about.Oh overall the meal was good and our waitress was very nice however if a restaurant is going to substitute different dishes that should be told upfront.I guess Bennigan's greatness will live only in my dreams.

OMG the Monte Crisco is the bomb.... My wife, who is very picky, was just going to do a burger.... I told her she couldn't try mine.... She orders it and hasn't stopped talking about it!

I hate to leave this review but I feel it is my duty to inform patrons of what to expect. I want to start by saying I have missed bennigans for years at least 12 years my area has not had one and I haven't had it in that time either so when I was finally going to an event that was out of town for me and seen that bennigans was there I had to stop and see if it was indeed open or just an abandoned building. To my surprise it was open! I will say that this location is beautiful. The restaurant was clean and it seemed to have been renovated or updated because it appeared to be brand new interior inside. Upon entering me and my party were greeted instantly and seated without a wait. The staff are very attentive and the teamwork here is top notch. Unfortunately that's where the praise ends. On the menu they do have a notice about staff shortages and some of the items being out due to supply issues. Which I understand completely and had an open mind for waiting and such. What I did not expect was what is listed on the menu to completely different than what is advertised. I ordered an onion ring tower but they did not have onion rings this day, which ok no biggie. For my meal I got a pick 3 appetizer and choose the hogan egg rolls, boneless wings and potato skins. I will say the potato skins were lovely and I would order those again. The egg rolls and boneless wings were another story. What's advertised is hogans egg rolls which are a typical southwest style that have chicken, beans and corn with cheeses. What I received was a grocery store frozen Asian style egg roll which had nothing like what is advertised. The boneless wings are merely their chicken tenders diced up which had I known I would not have ordered either item because that is not what I wanted in the slight. The chicken was diced like you would put on a salad so the breading was not together at all and I did try it but it just was not boneless wings to me. My guests ordered the Turkey O'Toole and a kids chicken tenders and fries. The child didn't like the tenders or fries and said it tasted weird. We tried it and it did taste like the oil was maybe dirty or very old so it gave the food a bad taste. The Turkey O'Toole was edible she said but wasn't nearly what it used to be that we remembered. If you do decide to dine just be aware that the menu items may not be prepared at all like what is advertised

I mean, it's Bennigan's. I go there when I'm in Melbourne for the same reason anyone not from Melbourne would: chasing 90s kid nostalgia feels. It pays off. Even if it isn't the old wood paneled Irish pub themed place we all see when we think back on simpler times. The Monte Cristo is there, albeit surrounded by a modern setting that begs for the light-dimmer to be turned down by half.

Had fish & chips. It was great. Friendly servers. Couple other people came to check on how things were. Not sure if they were the cook, manager, or whatever but wanted to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be back. Reasonably priced.

Bennigan's is one of the only sit-down restaurants on its stretch of 192. It has ample parking. That's about all it's got. We've been there twice now, and there won't be a third visit if I can help it. This restaurant just 'gets the job done' - it's not great, or even 'very good'. By comparison, it's like a 2 or 3 star hotel whilst Meg's downtown is a 5-star hotel. There is that much of a difference, folks. And about the same cost. The buffalo chicken salad we ordered was nothing special, and actually made us a bit sick later that evening. We were underwhelmed the first visit too, and after about a year or more hoped this time would be different. But nope, it's mediocre at best, with very little atmosphere to even want to sit at the bar and drink at. This restaurant serves a purpose but is not one to "make plans to go to", if you want a great meal. It's too bad they don't have more competition on that stretch of road. Might make them 'up their game' a little. As it is, you'd do better to drive a few more miles to grab a lunch.

I missed Bennigan's and went to it all the time as a kid. After a 2+ hour drive to do something else in the area, we saw we were near the only Bennigan's left in Florida and had to try it again! The waiters/waitresses were great, we had constant service and the food was how I remembered it! Jaiden was great and I wish we could come back more often!

Enjoyable lunch in a bright, clean dining area with mostly booths. My chicken tenders were cooked to perfection. The ample portion was tasty and the fries were crisp and light. My wife had the Rubin sandwich (she didn't offer even a bite so it must've been great)? An honest letter warning about staffing and supply shortages topped the menu, however we found the service speedy and no shortage for anything we ordered. The prices were reasonable. My only concern was the music was too loud such that we were not able to hear each other at normal conversation levels. I asked the server to lower the volume and was told that depending on the volume levels of the next song, if it was loud, they would attempt to reduce the volume. I asked them to do better and they indicated they would speak to the owner; I asked to speak with the owner to make my point directly. The owner came and we had a good conversation about the franchise requirements, including the music feed. I explained that when we eat out we like to talk and, no matter what corporate said, he would likely get more business from us older folks if he created a more welcoming environment. We will try Bennigans again and see if they got the message.
