This Carvel have been here forever and forever it will be my favorite. Can't go wrong here. Banana split all day everyday please. Front Outdoor seating is cute . Although I must say it can get crowded with no parking and no seating at times.
This is the place to be, it hops ? We stopped in last Saturday night & it was super busy with a long line out the door but very well-organized & our wait was surprisingly short. It was very clean & well-maintained.

Our normal ice cream place was closed so we decided to try Carvel. Really good ice cream! We tried cookies and cream (very good) and they had a carvel cake ice cream that was good too. The server was very friendly and happy to help us.

I brought my 2 boys here. It’s usually busy around the early evening time. There is not a lot of parking but people are coming and going so you find something! The staff inside was extremely helpful. I had a coupon and they helped me pick out what would qualify for the discount. Appreciate it.It’s very small inside. Don’t try bringing a stroller ? lots of families go there. There is some seating (outside) and then some benches on the side where the parking lot is…where we eat?

I have not been to a Carvel in years. Growing up in New Jersey, they were everywhere. I used to love to go to get their soft serve. There are no Carvels within 100 miles of Chicago, although you can find their ice cream cakes in the grocery stores (but it's different). Now that I can't have milk products, when I first saw Carvel, I was disappointed I couldn't go. On a whim, I checked their website and saw they carry Oatly Oat Milk frozen custard, so we went. (I called first to double-check.) There was a short line that moved quickly. There were three of us - two ordered cones, and I had a cup with sprinkles. Man, it was delicious! It's been a long time since I had "real" custard, but I swear it tasted like the real thing (ice cream). We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time. This time, they didn't have Oatly custard, but they did have it available in scoops. I hoped for te custard, but no matter, the cup (with sprinkles) was equally good. I'm not sure if Carvel offers franchises in the Chicago area, but it sure would be nice if one was close to my home.

I love this place…. The best root beer floats and milk shakes. These guys are the real deal !!! During Covid they kept the ice cream flowing. This was my sanctuary..Thank you !!!!
Staff is always nice and ice cream is delicious. Today my son spilled the sprinkles off of his ice cream and the manager gave him a big scoop of sprinkles to replace them and it made my son very

Ice cream was DELICIOUS. The waffle tasted a tad stale. Service was quick and friendly. Outside tables are convenient to enjoy your ice cream. Only complaint is they store smelled very strong of bleach. I'm happy they clean properly but that smell is not a good mix with ice
