I paid with my debit card for two certificates for City Pizza in W. Palm Beach. I messaged them that it shows on their website I have NO certificates available. Their website is NOT working properly. I tried calling their phone number listed on their website and it says the number has been disconnected! So basically they're fraudulently taking your money and you get NOTHING!!

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone they are horrible and will steal your money.

Appreciate the concept. Didn't appreciate not being able to have JB's at the Beach $75 certificate expiration (couldn't use because of virus situation) extended . One reason given by Charity Dine was that we already used it. Didn't agree but no way to check on the site. The other reason given was that JB's doesn't allow extensions. We have spent a lot of time and money at JB's because of Charity Dine . No more. Charity Dine and JB's should disclose this policy before they sell certificates.

I have purchased numerous discount restaurant certificates from Charity Dine. My past transactions with them went smoothly. I never had the need to contact customer support until my last attempt at buying an advertised certificate I received a notification for via a Charity Dine email. I have an online account with CD. I inputted my credit card info and completed my purchase. The site said it did not go through and to wait two minutes and try again. I made a second attempt and received the same message to wait and try again. After following their instructions to wait and try again I finally gave up. I was a bit concerned the transactIons might have gone through in spite of the "try again" messages. I checked to see if the certificate appeared in the "my account" area of the site. It did not. I also checked to make sure I didn't receive an email confirming a purchase. I did not. Although, I was disappointed I was unable to complete my transaction and purchase the desired certificate, I was relieved my multiple attempts to purchase were not completed. I happened to go onto my online banking and noticed five charges from CD that had been deducted from my account. I reached out via a phone number on their site to "contact us." The call went to voicemail. I left a message. I waited to receive a call back. When I did not I filled out a "contact us" via a form for a "faster response." I asked them to cancel my charges. When I did not hear back I sent another stating I would leave an unflattering online review if I didn't hear back from them. That elicited a reply... They basically told me I'd be sorry for writing a negative review because they are so "charitable!" Rather than cancel the charges as my bank suggested they told me to just wait until the charges fell off. My bank told me I should file a fraud report. My bank also said it could take up to 10 days for the charges to come off. I sent CD another email asking them to cancel the charges as my bank suggested. I have yet to hear back. Nor, did they offer to issue the certificates. I do not believe CD is attempting to rip me off for the almost $60.00 in charges. However, I do not believe they're acting in good faith by not canceling the charges and making me go through the hassle of filing a fraud report with my bank. Beware, if you get a message to "wait two minutes and try again" do not make another attempt to purchase. I also strongly suggest that Charity Dine's customer service conduct themselves courteously and respond to customers before they are provoked to write a negative review. Ps. The charges from Charity Dine are no longer "pending charges" they are now "authorized charges!" I was assured by CD that wasn't going to happen. It did and I consider this fraudulent. I was threatened by CD that "I'd be sorry" if I posted a negative review on social media. I now intend to report them to the FCC.

Sounded like a good idea. I bought a certificate for a restaurant at a good discount. Checked the website and the website said the restaurant was OPEN. Went there for lunch on Tuesday and sign on door says closed. Summer hours closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Open Monday and Friday at 3. How can they serve lunch? Contacted charitydine twice by email and response was we will get back to you very soon. Got no response. Called the next day and no one there and got message to leave your name and number, and someone will get back to you. Customer service is non-existent

My family and I love Charitydine.com. Great restaurants and great deals. We have been using Charity Dine since 2011, saved literally more than $5,000 with the certificates and the customer service has been fantastic when needed. Would love to see a few more restaurants; think they have about 50-60 in Palm Beach county but everyone I know loves them. Keep up the good work Charity Dine; we're big fans
