We got there early so it was easy to converse at a round table for 6. Glad it filled up later as the restaurant is good and has a following. It was an enjoyable evening with good food and bearable noise level.

The food was delicious as was the service. It's a bit cramped for me as our table was sort of in the middle and I had a gentleman's back very close to mine. If you go ask for a table on the side. I think it would feel less cramped.

This is a gem! We went on Valentine's Day for the first time and wished we had found the restaurant earlier in our trip because we would have loved to have gone multiple times. The food was excellent. We had the goat cheese & tomato appetizer and two different veal entrees which were both tender and delicious. The owner was very welcoming, kind, and generous. We will go next year!

Enjoyable evening. Very pleasant setting. We particularly enjoyed the paintings on the walls (all from Nantucket artists.) Food was good+. Wine list could use a bit of an upgrade, but otherwise we had a very nice night out -- and will go back.

Had a great dinner. It was a small, quaint restaurant. The appetizers and salads were terrific. We all enjoyed our main courses of fish, risotto and Mac and cheese. We will return.

Maison Carlos has been one of our favorite restaurants for the last 16 years. It never disappoints. Truly one of the great restaurants where you can actually converse with your friends and HEAR each other. The food is deliciously consistent and b never over priced. We love it!!

Prix Fixe menu - Clams Posillipo, Veal Saltimbocca, Creme Brûlée with Galindo's recommended Malbec could not be beat! Just fantastic tastes and ambiance with Christmas decorations and music plus the art on the walls! A keeper!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. NEVER disappoints!! From the moment you are warmly welcomed at the door to your last mouthful of a delicious dessert you feel taken care of. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. And it's quiet enough to be able to hear your guests.

Lovely meal, unexpectedly excellent food and delightful low-key, elegant setting. Service was terrific - staff were attentive, friendly and efficient but not intrusive. Wonderful experience, will definitely return. Everything we ate was excellent, great depth of flavors, perfectly prepared.

We had the vichyssoise and snails is a pail appetizers, good but not outstanding. Next the hangar steak and duck for dinner, both meats excellent, potato sides average. Shared a key like pie for dessert. The restaurant is pretty and quiet, a rarity in these days. Service was excellent. Enjoyed our experience enough to return

Everything was delicious!! I came across Maison Carlos via an Instagram ad regarding their Thursday night Eggplant or Chicken Parm special. My friend and I ordered one of each and they were both spectacular as well as the Moscato we were served! I typically cannot drink alcoholic beverages along with my food but it was just so so good!! One of our servers, Galindo, was kind enough to find out & tell us the name of the bottle. He also shared stories with us about wine tastings & visits he had in North Carolina - right up our coast! Due to an 8:45 reservation, I'm pretty sure we were the only ones in the restaurant besides our 2 servers & I believe the owner at a table in the back corner. Service was great, no rush at all even though we believe they should have closed at 9:30 before we even placed our dessert order. Very cute, quiet, (& romantic for that special someone ?) At $19/plate, with complimentary Zucchini chips warm pan ? & a starter salad, our night out was a steal!! So happy to have found this seemingly secret spot ? We'll be back for more, for sure. The creme brulee was the perfect final touch. ????
