The PBKC has a unique DNA like many card rooms, but is unlike any you’ve ever visited.If the hard rock was the ‘Ivy League Athlete’, the PBKC would be the kindhearted drunk uncle that still somehow remembers your birthday every year.The kennel club is unpretentious, casual, action heavy, and comes with an overall familiar vibe that makes you feel like you belong.Also for the record I am a female, and have been visiting this poker room for years. Not once have I felt uncomfortable or unsafe. There are good people who go here and will look out for you. After all, we’re all just here to play some cards. So come on down, there’s a seat for you.

I would have liked to have the server anticipate my needs like refiling my beverage without having to ask. Other than that, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was top notch!

I first came to PBKC in 1970 and have been going ever since. Even though live dog racing ended I find the ownership trying to do many things to keep the facility going. I have always found the facility to be very clean. Every staff member in both buildings have always been very nice and respectful. I have eaten everything from the hot dog stand to the Paddock restaurant. I have never had an issue that wasn't corrected immediately. My only complaint is I lose more than I win. Last night we went to a live comedy show. As usual the entire staff was cordial and our food was good. Even the parking valet was great. It didn't hurt that Jackie Martling was very funny.

Interesting place. Saw Andrew Dice Clay there which was hilarious. The venue not the nicest but our waitress was great. Place needs a serious makeover.

I went here about 18 years ago and it was a total dump, went here recently hearing about the "renovations" and, yup, it's still a dump. This place is a total creep show, it smells awful, everything is old, and the people who visit here often aren't a crowd anyone would feel safe around, especially for women.The food is basically cafeteria style food, and that is being nice about the slop they serve. There is no proper bar, it looks like a snack concession stand with just a few choices of liquor that is made by anyone who could fog a mirror, and served to you in a plastic cup. Overall, avoid this classless dump full of the dregs of society.
