This review is not about the excellent (although pricey) vegan sushi and menu. I have written reviews about the food before. This review is about the super amazing service and going that extra mile for your patrons that were shown to our party of five by the general manager (Jacee? I hope that's right) and our server Olivia. My six year old nephew cannot eat dairy, egg, gluten. The GM took the menu, said give her 5 minutes, and returned with the menu with every menu item marked "gluten," "cross contamination," "safe" etc. Our table was so impressed by this stellar attention to detail considering how most places cannot be bothered. The GM is hands down one of the very best I have encountered in 65 years. And our waitress was pleasant, professional. Checked on us unobtrusively. The manager and some waitstaff at True Food can take some lessons from Planta staff on how to serve your customers so that they will want to keep returning

Excellent patio area with great people watching setting. Food was delicious! Enjoyed the edamame hummus plate and bang bang broccoli. I'm a sucker for a Hawaiian Pizza. Tasty pizza and the cashew mozzarella puts it over the top. Along with a few bottles of wine we also enjoyed the vegan key lime pie.

PLANTA is right near the square which has plenty of great places to shop, drink, and eat. The vibe of this place is adorable, very clean and fresh. Our waitress was new but great. She was happy to explain things and give recommendations. The drinks and food were incredible. I am always amazed at plant based restaurants and how they incorporate so much creativity and flavor in their plates. Many items are served tapas style so you can really try a bunch of things!

Not Allergy Friendly, Specifically told my waitress that I was allergic to nuts and to make sure the kitchen knew. She said it should be all good and she would let them know, as I was eating my tongue swelled up and I asked the waitress again, double checking there is no nuts in my dish and she confirmed. I then went into anaphylactic shock and had to call 911 to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Do not eat here if you have any allergies, they will not take it seriously and could end very badly. After research I learned this is not the first occurrence at a Planta Restaurant. Be safe and steer clear if you or someone you love has allergies.

The absolute worst service experience that I have encountered. Staff (including the manager) is extremely rude to customers. After buying drinks and sitting down on the outside patio with my family, we were told to leave because our 4 year old had an ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. At this point my wife was in the middle of feeding our 4 month old baby… I replied that we just spent $40 on drinks so we should be able to sit and enjoy them and the server lady threw a fit and said no outside food allowed. I asked for a refund for our drinks and she aggressively grabbed them and ran away to the bar. I spoke with the manager and she was just as rude and said that even though there was no one else on the patio that my 4 year old’s 1 scoop of ice cream could cause “cross contamination” because they are a vegan restaurant. I said that is absurd and she stormed away. For a place serving $20 miniature cocktails, one would think that they would at least respect their patrons.

I recently visited PLANTA PALM BEACH, an exceptional plant-based restaurant nestled in “The Square,” an oceanic oasis and experiential shopping mall. Despite the tricky parking, with a $25 valet and a $20 garage option, the allure of PLANTA’s offerings makes any minor inconvenience worth it.Positioned on the first floor, PLANTA boasts both indoor and outdoor seating. Their weekend brunch extends to 4 pm, featuring a seasonal menu that always promises something new and exciting. On a bustling Saturday morning, I, alongside my best friend and her son (who is discerningly vegetarian during summer), embarked on a culinary adventure. Despite not being vegan or vegetarian myself, the dishes we sampled left an indelible mark on my palate.Appetizers:• Croquetas: Served in a set of five, resting in a creamy garlic sauce, these croquetas were sublime. The crispy exterior, paired with the lush sauce, created a perfect harmony of textures.• Vietnamese Coffee: Despite straying from my diet due to the condensed milk, this was a gamble that paid off, delivering a robust and satisfying flavor.• Matcha Macchiato: Refreshing and invigorating, a perfect beverage choice that I would highly recommend.• Bao Slider: A perennial favorite of mine. The crispy oyster mushrooms never fail to impress, making it a standout dish.• Loaded Breaky Burrito: This dish was nothing short of magical. The crispy onions, paired with hot honey and salsa, elevated it to something beyond ordinary. However, not every dish reached these lofty heights. The Falafel Crunch Wrap felt like a missed opportunity, lacking the inventiveness I’ve come to expect from PLANTA.Service was a bit of a letdown during this visit. While I’ve previously enjoyed impeccable attention from the staff, this time it fell short of their usual standards.Despite this, PLANTA remains a favorite of mine. As a regular at their Fort Lauderdale location, I can attest to their consistently high-quality fare. If you’re looking for an unforgettable plant-based dining experience, PLANTA PALM BEACH will convert you into a believer.

So refreshing to have a fully vegan menu. We had the chickn waffle (the chickn being deep fried mushrooms) and the chorizo pizza and they were to die for. Highly recommend! Service and atmosphere are also great.

Manager is so petty. We got ice cream on a Thursday at 1230 at Sloans next door. We sat down at the chairs outside. Didn't realize they belonged to Planta (place looked closed, as it was). There were a total of maybe 4 people in a square mile of the plaza total. Planta doesn't even open until 4pm. He literally told us we couldn't sit there. ? I get it I get it. I'm not a patron and they are closed. I'm in the wrong but I just wouldn't have handled it that way. I'll never recommend nor eat there again.. Matching petty energy with petty ratings. ????

This is a vegan restaurant located in The Square (very nice location to walk around) in WPB. We ordered the Ahi Watermelon nigri, house burger, croquetas, dumplings, and crispy rice. The décor is very nice and posh. However, service was slow the day I visited. Placing the order didn't take too long, but we waited a while for our food (perhaps not enough cooks that day). I was curious to try the ahi watermelon nigri, but it didn't really stand out to me. I didn't really notice the watermelon flavor. I enjoyed the croquetas and the house burger, but the dumplings and crispy rice were pretty average to me. This place is a bit expensive for a meal (probably due to serving vegan ingredients) and while it was fun to try, I don't think I will be back for the food unless I have a friend who is vegan, and we need vegan food options (for being a vegan restaurant, it was okay, but if I didn't have dietary restrictions, probably somewhere else).

Pretty good for being a vegan restaurant with no meat or fish (despite names on the menu), but felt the food and drinks were way overpriced (would recommend coming for happy hour deals). For dinner I tried the ahi watermelon nigiri, spicy tuna (watermelon) handroll, bao slider (mushroom), bang bang broccoli, and the croquetas (mushroom). All the food had a beautiful presentation, but as a meat lover, just left me missing meat/fish. Own personal preference, no fault of the restaurant. The only item I absolutely LOVED was the mushroom croquetas- they were lightly fried and the creamy mixture inside was so decadent (mushroom bacon, cashew mozzerella, cilantro, and garlic aioli). Highly recommend these!!! For drinks I tried the "Lych Please", "Herb Your Enthusiasm", "Pink Flamingo" and "Mez Cal Me Maybe". All drinks were ok, some better than others, but definitely overpriced at almost $20 each. Our bartender was very friendly and made our experience nice. I would return here for the beautiful ambiance (outside bar right in the middle of Rosemary Square) and the croquetas with a cocktail- but would most definitely come during happy hour.

Visiting West Palm Beach from out of town with our friends who are vegan and a few other friends who aren't vegan, but they tried Planta back in Chicago and thought the food was amazing. For parking we paid meter parking and walked a few minutes to get to the plaza. Our server was very sweet and agreed to seat us at a different table, since there was an issue with one of the tables being shaky. The ambiance was nice and cozy. Our friends said this location wasn't as huge as the one in Chicago. I got a matcha latte and it doesn't really come sweetened too much, but you can ask for more sugar. Everyone really enjoyed the bang bang brocolli for an appetizer (crisp fried brocolli with bang bang sauce). I enjoyed most the dragon roll. Presentation was really nice and I liked the eel sauce they used for the dragon roll. This was probably my favorite thing I had there. We also got the unagi nigiri and my fiance that doesn't like eggplant liked it as well. Portions for the waffle and burger was pretty big. The crispy mushroom had a sweet taste to it from the agave that went nice with the waffle. Would definitely like to come back and try more of their sushi!
