Was this past Saturday night and for a high end steakhouse the service was not great. We got out appetizers and then waited 1 1/2 hour for our main course to be brought to the table.

The main courses are delicious. I was shocked at the au gratin. It looked like Mac and cheese. The potatoes were cut in cubes and it was in a watery cheese sauce. It was like something you'd get at Cracker Barrel. Caesar salad was delicious as well as the creamed spinach.

The waitresses and waiters were very professional & helpful. We did not have to wait on anything because they were there prompt and willing to help. The food was delicious and to our liking, thank you.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant yesterday. We had great valet service. The hostess greeted us immediately, wished us a happy anniversary and seated us promptly. We got to our table and it went down hill from there. Our server was kind, but she was lacking in customer service skills. It was freezing in the upstairs section. She told us she would mention it to management but nothing was changed the entire night. There were other tables not under vents which could have worked out. My martini order came out wrong. No big deal and it was corrected. When she took our order she seemed upset we both were not ordering extra slides when we were getting soup and salad. When the salad came out, it was wrong. She tried to correct it but it came out wrong again. Next, our entrees took over an hour to come out. A neighboring couple who arrived an hour after us were served before us. The food was alright. The steak and fish were overcooked. The dessert she mentioned would be free due to our anniversary said, “Happy Birthday.” She corrected it with another dessert which was appreciated but we wanted to leave. We were forced to stay even longer when we had to wait 30 minutes to pay our bill. We arrived at 7:45 PM and left after 10 PM due to the errors and slow service. Glad we did not have a show tickets or we would have been really late. I normally don’t write these but given the cost of the meal I had to share our experience.

Customer service was outstanding. Ian, our waiter, was very accommodating, especially to our two young sons. We asked to be relocated to the bar area to watch a sporting event, and the entire team assisted without any frustration. Very professional team. Ensured we had a great experience.
When we got there, we told the waitress that we were going to the theater. And that was to be no problem. We ordered a few minutes after six, and at 7:10 we still did not have any food. The manager came and said he was sorry that there had been a mixup, And the food came out probably by 715 or soon after that. My friend and I had split a steak, and it was not done to the right temperature and so grizzly we could not eat it. They took it back and cooked it more but we couldn't eat it at all. We did not have time to really complain to the manager because we were going to be late for the theater if we wasted any more time there. Another friend had a fillet that was delicious. It was melted in your mouth, good. We each had a couple of bites of her steak, ate the potatoes and the mushrooms, and the bread. And left our steak lying on our plates. A total waste of $59.00. We always think of Ruth's Chris as a special place to go for a special dinner, and usually we are not disappointed, but this time, very disappointed!

Took a friend who lost his wife a few months ago to get him out. Waited ten minutes for a server to even over and ask about water or a drink. My wife does not eat meat so asked what the fish was. Server said salmon grilled. Fine Server did not ask about any food allergies but salmon came out with shrimp on top and my wife is shrimp allergic. Server never mention shrimp on the grilled salmon. Salads came and one minute after finishing them food was there no break . Wife's meal took about 20 minutes to replace and by that time the rest of us were done eating. No relief on the bill not even a dessert comp. Second time gone there and service way below par and love the food but not worth the hassle. Also asked for a second round of drinks with the dinner and server said she never acknowledged we wanted more drinks but she did when we requested them so she forgot. Many more steak places around.
Lovely anniversary dinner! Arrived early after our concert and were accommodated right away. We were seated at the best table in the house a received exceptional service from Sean, Mohammed and Theo. We had a ribeye and a petite filet, both of which were cooked to perfection. We were treated to a complimentary slice of the sinfully delicious chocolate cake for dessert in honor of the occasion. It was yet another wonderful Ruth's Chris experience.

Mostly good Nice decor. Very fresh Service a bit spotty. Salad came late meat came early Meat was to our temperature but cut into 5 pieces not the 2 we asked for. Server was hard to find.
This is the best place to get away and enjoy an elegant meal. Steak was out of this world
