Not a big selection of beers but what they had was spot on. Loved their red ale and German kolsch... very tasty.

Hello,I was with my sister, brothers, and family from out of town and we were excited to try some new brews. Apparently, no kids are allowed after 6 and NO SIGNS saying this are in the establishment and nothing is listed on their website as well. Are only warning which wasn’t even a warning was a worker basically kicking us out saying kids aren’t allowed because “I said so”. To the owner at least place some sort of notice so potential customers can know this instead of getting booted out after walking in when especially if it’ll be a long commute.

Stopped in while in the area for vacation. Love to check out the local breweries when I travel. The taproom was very cool, and there was great covered outdoor seating out back. Very nicely done! I did a flight, and everything I selected was very good! We enjoyed our time here very much, and will definitely stop in again when we're back in the area. Prost!
Love the Gnarly Carley beer. Great place with awesome beer tenders

I love all the beers I have tried here. I only wish they had a larger selection. Between flights and pints, we tried the Kolsch, Amber Ale, Pale Lager, Nitro Stout, Pilsener, Brown Ale and something called a Soup Stout. All were very good to excellent. There was no IPA in sight, but I feel it would also be good if they served one. I noticed some of the beers were ones I had tried elsewhere. This was the case, as I found out SteamHorse is a collaboration of two other local breweries I have also visited and they share beers across them all. The taproom is modern, spacious and there are seating areas both inside and outside (on the patio in back). Service is friendly with a knowledgeable barmaid the day we were there. SteamHorse has all the elements I like in a brewery. In fact, I liked it better than their two brewing partner breweries, that essentially share beer menus with..

We didn't get to try any of their beers because they turned us away at 6:30 on a Tuesday evening because we had our 8 year old daughter with us. Apparently they are 21+ after 6pm even though they have nothing on their website or signage on their door giving a heads up regarding that. I understand why some decide not to allow kids, and that's fine, but give parents the courtesy of a heads up. Our daughter walked in with an armful of books because she is happy to sit and read while we drink a beer. There were a whole whopping 3 people sitting at the bar and every other one of their 50+ seats in the place were empty. Of the dozens upon dozens of breweries that we have been to over the years, this place is only the second that has any sort of age restriction, and the first one to not give any indication of that in advance.
