We had dinner here during Zoo Lights. You place your order & then pickup when ready. No table service. The cashier was cold, as if she didn't want to be there. When my daughter asked her what chimichurri was, she didn't seem to know more than that it was white & was an herb sauce. Definitely not correct...although that IS what it seemed to be when it was served. However, actual chimichurri is supposed to be a green sauce of parsley & garlic. I surprisingly good burger at the tropics café and sadly Palm Beach zoo. Nice little hot juicy and greasy cheeseburger with hot fries. Prices for what to be expected. It's nice and cool inside to get out from the heat. It looks like there's extensive renovation going on on the inside. It's noisy as would be expected because there's about 4000 kids running around screaming. But it's the zoo. Still a pleasant experience.

They have decent food options, better than I expected at a zoo. We enjoy grabbing a cold drink halfway though our visits. The quality won’t blow you away given the price, but we like having options!
