“I love this place... It's a small little diner at the Williston Airport. The restaurant is military themed but entirely non-political (something that is a rarity these days). When my son got out of boot camp, we came and ate here as active duty military get a free meal. The food is decent diner fare but really you come for the atmosphere. Owners are friendly.“
“Very good food and service. Nice big booths if preferred over sitting at a table. Our group of five ordered breakfast items: omelets, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits, etc. All were very good. Somone in our group wanted orange juice but when it was served in a bottle rather than a glass, she declined so don't expect to get fresh squeezed juice. The coffee is very good and the servers are very attentive to keeping the cups full. If you like pastries, they are, sadly, not on the menu. Free parking in a lot. Melanie's is conveniently located on Main Street.“
“Prices have crept up a little but where hasn't it? You still never go hungry and a doggie bag is at least a full meal the next day or 2. i only gave 4 stars as it was swamped on Valentine's Day but they acknowledged us seated our party of 4 ASAP. They closed down their location in Dunnellon but are still worth the drive for the best barbecue around.“
“Very nice!!! Nothing negative hereGot a catfish, 3 large fish sandwich. Best I have ever had. An order of onion rings were very good. Today I got a Philly steak sandwich. It was great. Just like what you get at a fair. They put a nice awning up and several tables with umbrellas. Most of all the people running this are absolutely wonderful. Prices are not bad for what you get.“
“The food was super. The steak was tender and seasoned perfectly. The mashed potatoes, though they could have been warmer were delicious, with small bits of potato giving them good texture. The garlic parm wings were exceptional, nice meaty wings with fresh chopped garlic, served nice and hot and fresh. Our waitress was attentive and thoughtful, with a very genuine demeanor.“
“Food and service were good but pretty small sandwiches for the huge price. Almost $20 for a small Faux Cuban so probably won't be going back there as we have 2 other places offering legit Cubans here in town same price. I just hope they're bigger “
