“This is a spot you must go to if you’re in the Wilton Manors area. We were greeted by the small business owner who thought we were a party that had canceled. We quickly knew he loved his place. Rocco was our waiter. He was a blast and happy to be serving us on Christmas Eve. He was patient and gave us suggestions. Food was all good, prices very reasonable and very attentive staff. “If you read nothing else of my review read this: Bring singles! Yes. These ladies are working hard and deserve every bit of "moulah" that you can hand them as they strut their stuff on stage and through the entire venue! I went with a large group of women for a recent Sunday Gospel brunch (Gospel brunch is back and is the first Sunday of each month) and it was a blast. There are two brunch sittings (one at 11:30 and the other at 2pm) and the energy that these performers have to have to do this show twice is crazy! For one set price, ($39.95) you get a choice of entree (there is an entire range of items from Eggs Benedict, to crabcakes to pasta) and then unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys. For a small upcharge you can also get unlimited frozen cosmos so know before you go! And when I say unlimited, they mean it as bottle after bottle of champagne landed on our table along with pitchers of orange juice. On the day I was there, the audience was made up of bachelorette parties as well as birthdays and just some people hanging out, but whether people were celebrating something or not, everyone came to have fun and this venue ensures that! The service is outstanding, the jokes are flying, and probably my favorite part was at the end when the "man in the mirror" segment was done. The entire experience last about 2.5 hours and my face still hurts from smiling the entire time. Well done, Lips!“

I just sat at the bar for 10 minutes, with a dirty bar in front of me and never got service. Bartenders have no sense of urgency. Staff needs a good wake up call in our collective opinion! The service was fast and professional. I ordered 3 street tacos and I got beef, pork and chicken. I was blown away at how delicious this food was. Easily the best tacos I've ever had. I also really enjoyed the Quvo Named craft beer. I was surprised to learn that the gentleman and woman serving me were the owners! I'll definitely be returning.“

“This place was amazing. It's black owned, ran by black people, the whole experience. My party of 4 got to the restaurant an hour before our reservation ( on a Sunday) and the host Wendy was gracious enough to get us in early. Wendy are a gem in that. You can tell she runs a they ship. All the staff were nice. The food was just simply amazing. When you first walk in, the low light will take you a couple of minutes to adjust. However once you do, it's all good from there. There have a little photos booth to take photos. The music was just right. I definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. We can wait to go back for dinner once night. Hats off to Smith and Webster!!“

It would be nice if the bartenders or whatever you call them actually ask your name or say thank you after you pay them instead of just walking away. Just seems like there’s two rungs of service.“

The staff was very friendly, John was our waiter and he was amazing and smiled throughout his time with us, we had kids, and took forever to order but he was so patient. The food was good and the prices weren’t bad either. We were able to have access to the rooftop pool and the water was the perfect temperature and so inviting. We came about 2pm on Saturday and the parking area was charging $30 for up to 4 hours however Sunset Club does offer valet parking for $15, overall we enjoyed and will be returning soon this time without the kids! They have a DJ at 6 we want to go back during that time!“

Once again, we sat on the dock right by the water. However, I must emphasize that making a reservation a few days in advance is essential; otherwise, securing a table can be quite challenging.Happy hour drink specials are available every day between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, and except for weekends, there are happy hour food options on weekdays. You can also visit for Sunday brunch from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, although we usually come here exclusively for dinner.As always, we ordered a variety of starters to share. The Guacamole, Spicy Sautéed Shrimp, Crab Cake, Loaded Potato Dipper and Pepperoni Flatbread were especially delightful. However, I found the Steamed Mussels somewhat mediocre and not to my taste. We had Octopus and bacon wrapper scallops. Great Garlic bread. Main entrees were spot on and again generous portions. We had Jambalaya and the lobster pasta. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Had Key lime pie for dessert and that completed a great dinner. The only issue we had was because it was so big, the nachos got cold quite quickly.We were so full after attempting to finish the plate that we had no room for anything else.
