“My wife is French and she has a very hard time finding the things she loves to eat in America but she said let’s try this place and I’m so glad she did the service was amazing the food was better I had French toast and I was blown away by the taste it was the best French toast I’ve ever had in my life if you don’t stop here your definitely missing a true hidden gem it looks scary at first like you made a wrong turn but then you see all the different places and their beautiful and so different then your normal food choices this is special and I plan to return as much as possible and bring you dog they have a pet menu to if their was an option for ten stars Id gladly say it is worth every star they have gotten“

“Was looking forward to the Ceviche I had on our first night on vacation. I came back to have the Ceviche again a few days later since I loved it so much and the Ceviche was completely different. All shrimp…. Did not even taste like Ceviche. Was sooo disappointed. I wish they would have told us before we ordered or I would have gotten something else instead. Let your customers know if the menu changes. I walked through high winds and rain to come back to this restaurant before flying back home.“

“Our first time at the hen and the hog was a great one. Were in town for my wife’s birthday and decided on this gem for her birthday breakfast. I got the Baja burrito on special (pickled onions, egg,cheese, an amazing sauce and chorizo) and my wife got the skillet with corn beef hash(delicious and fresh ) . “Second time eating from this First Watch this week lol. I loved the holey donuts during my last visit, so I got them again today. I was hoping they'd still be hot because I live ~7mins away from the location, but they sadly weren't. Even still, they were pretty good especially with the fruity sauce (raspberry?). I'd never tried the superfoods bowl before, so decided to true it and this chia was really good! I didn't realize the bread was whole grain (I would've preferred plain), so I didn't try it. “The fam and I went for breakfast at this location as I've always wanted to try them but have always gone elsewhere. I was surprised by the menu options, plenty of favorites for everyone's pallet. I tried the pancakes as the establishments name sake but was disappointed on the first bite. The pancakes were absent any standout flavors and tasted more like Bisquick mix than a hearty pancake batter. The fruit sauce I put on top was almost all sugar and you could taste the preservative (Potassium Sorbate).The texture was ok with a fluffy thickness to them. The bacon was once crispy but was room temperature and somewhat chewy.The wife had waffles, these were better. Plenty of thick outer edge and light & fluffy Inner. The whipped cream and fruit was tasty with no noticable aftertaste. Not to sweat or tart. Coffee was soso. I have had better but also much worse. The service though was less than stellar. I'm not going to name drop but the server was less than professional and borderline hostile when my wife asked for a change of order just before the server was walking away. This along with the wait to be seated when there was almost no one there added to the overall review. I can honestly say I'm hoping the next time I decide to go things are different for us. I do not like leaving negative posts but when warranted they are a must. I will update you this when we go back in a few weeks. Perhaps things will change for the better.“

“We seem to have this as our go to place for Breakfast every Saturday. The service is always amazing. The food is always well done and done as ordered. As for decor and ambience the big screen TV's always playing movies or Cooking videos (love it) . Plenty of parking there too. My usual breakfast is usually 2 eggs , whole wheat toast and grits. The eggs always come out perfectly medium with JUST enough yolk for dipping the toast. My wife loved her french toast too, My daughter had the LEO omelete and her potatoes were delicious.. My only complaint is I wish they had Cholula hot sauce.“
