My parents were waiting on us when we arrived, not sure if her feelings were hurt because she making a second trip for drinks or what but after taking our drink order she waited on several other tables and 15 mins later we had drinks. The slowest service I have ever had for breakfast 1 1/2 hours. We all ordered the sausage gravy with either biscuit or toast (fancy Texas big sliced). Ok, my mom had a waffle and she loved it. While eating I noticed the fork had a very generous curve on it and I felt the back of my neck hurting while I had to arrange my lips to hover above. Maybe this is a French or English fork, either way if I wont eat here again so my two cents is, remember this will be a slow eat and bring your own fork.

Good stuff. Steph who was a floater and all around check on things was great and really made my day. My server Mike was swamped but kept a smiling face and cheerful attitude. Even the young lady behind the front counter was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very pleasant and located in a quaint little alcove, Windermere's version of a strip mall. The rest of us should take note. This is how you do a strip mall. The menu is extensive, staying true to the diner aspect of the place. I had chicken & waffles and some nice breakfast potatoes. I also got a couple items from the bakery - a muffin and a cookie. Very nice.

I have been here 3 times and never had a good meal. My last experience was last week and I ordered Quiche. It was only warm, very thick and heavy, salty and the crust was like cardboard. Two others at my table had the quiche also and said the same thing. The place is packed all the time.....I,don't know why. Maybe I order the wrong thing but three strikes and I am done.

Food was delicious, just went in for take out, but had to wait almost an hour after I was told 20 min. They were very apologetic and I could tell they were kind busy. Very

My husband and I are always looking for brunch spots, this place was delicious! This is the second time we come, the service and food are both great! Next time we're bringing the kids, they would definitely love it.

Second visit. Everything is fresh, great recipes, friendly staff, quirky-but-cool decor.Big plus: the place smells like bacon and bakery. The biscuits are absurdly good.Best breakfast in Central Florida.

Brisket Hash was not really a hash. It had no flavor, was very dry and was in big chunks. The server was not the nicest either when I conveyed the message about the brisket. He just offered another meal on the menu, no I'm sorry or apologies. I passed on that offer. The only good thing was that the meal was on the house after the fact. What meal??

Love it here. Just feels like eating breakfast at home. The lattes are great, the omelettes are too. Our go to breakfast spot in Orlando.

If you are looking for a solid, local breakfast joint that is reminiscent of an old dinner, than the Dixie Cream Cafe is a great spot to stop! This local breakfast joint for Windemere residents is consistently busy - even on weekdays - but you never have to wait too too long. I always enjoy the vanilla bean latte and the eggs benedict; I would also recommend the breakfast burrito. Their menu is large and surely will have something for everyone - without being overwhelming.

Love this small town spot. Fantastic food and lots of different options. Come here regularly

There were four of us, and it was obvious by the disdain of a regular who "had to get to his table" that we were out of our element. Every other table had drinks, and we were ignored, then the server, whose personality had zero personality, forgot one of our drinks then promptly disappeared. We ordered the "famous" brisket hash , and it was dry and flavorless. The eggs were scrambled well, but the bananas foster French toast was covered in raw bananas. We drive 45 minutes to come here based on the reviews, but the locals' attitude problems, the server's lack of care, concern, and personality deficit combined with less than stellar food for us, does not bode well for a return.

I really love this place. It’s great for breakfast and today we ordered desserts for my moms 87th Bday and they were amazing. Their baker CiCi is amazing. We ordered a coconut cake, an assortment of cookies and and coffee butter crunch pie that was AMAZING!
