What no one tells you about Big Daddy's BBQ is that it is almost scary to go inside. It's dark. There are threatening signs outside. And ordering through the plexiglass-covered windows surrounded by cinderblock makes a person feel like they're visiting a prisoner. You have to choose your sauce without having any idea what the choices taste like. (I got honey bbq.) The food isn't fast. Prepare to wait. And then, when it arrives - please, take your time. Enjoy the food. SAVOR it. Because it is the BEST barbecue you will EVER eat. I got the ribs and two weeks later, I'm still wishing we'd driven back to Big Daddy's for more ribs. I dream about them now. I'm an out-of-towner, from up north, just stopped here on vacation based on TripAdvisor reviews. We don't normally go to Florida for vacation. But honestly, I can't stop thinking about those ribs so we may have to change our "normal" vacation plans. I hope to God they are still there when I find my way back.

We go for the oxtail and goat meat dinners which are not easy to find in the area. They melt in your mouth. The sides are delicious, your plate is packed. My husband eats a lot and he's satisfied. I eat mine in 2 sittings. It's drive through only. The girl that takes your order wears a mask correctly on her face which makes me feel comfortable buying there. Enjoy your meal, keep safe.

The food was awesome. The staff professional and friendly. I always get the ribs, but this time I tried the salad, topped with grill chicken & shrimp. It was loaded.

Food is superb! The service is great and the owner is pleasant.
Not a fast food place but a real meal. Is freshly prepared from scratch, so call ahead or be prepared to wait just like home cooking!!!! Is a must go!

We ordered the catfish dinner with collard greens and mac and cheese and the pulled pork sandwich with red beans and white rice and mac and cheese. First the pulled pork sandwich is not exactly a sandwich it's a huge helping of pulled pork that basically Smothers the bottom part of the bun oh, enough to feed two people or save some for another meal! The sauce on it we got mild and sweet it was a wonderful mustard-based sauce that I have never tasted anything else liking it was out of this world. Pork was very tender and lots of it! Fish meal had two full for fillets of fried catfish, or you can get it grilled along with the mac and cheese and collard greens that I had. I must admit these are the best collard greens I have had in a very long time. Only thing is be aware the small neck bones from the pork neck bones that I imagine they use in the collard greens. But other than that the collard greens were on point! The macaroni and cheese was gooey with cheese. All of this for $19 for two people.

My husband and I stopped by Big Daddy because we always see cars there. I got BBQ chicken my husband got The pulled pork sandwich; both were excellent as were the sides. You won’t be disappointed with their food.

The food is so good with a variety of choices of meats, veggies, comfort food and desserts. The staff are number one in service and knowledge. I highly recommend you taking time to stop by and give your taste buds and stomach a first class treat! Ms. G
