This was our second Azteca visited.The other was in Lakeland, FL.My wife and I had a date night.The food was good. A little spicy ? got milk?Overall, I recommend this location.The only downside is that Azteca is not military friendly.As a disabled veteran, I always appreciate an establishment more when the military is recognized. I also appreciate when seniors are recognized even more.In business, to recognize these two groups sets you on a different level.Handicap friendly ?

A lot of locals claim this is the world's best Mexican restaurant. The service is fine and the staff is friendly. However, the food is what we call Gringoized. Good, tasty enough, but not genuine. The margaritas made up for it, though. Just go with friends and enjoy the company and cocktails and don't expect a lot from the food. It's well prepared and nicely presented, just not genuine.

I love the artwork in the restaurant. I ordered two beef enchiladas with Spanish rice. I was able to eat 1 and some rice and took the rest home. It was nicely presented and tasty with the red sauce and some sour cream. I would give it a try if you haven't done so.
If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this place is NOT it. The deviled shrimp are in tomato sauce and are not spicy.

So my family and I decided to go to Azteca for dinner. After we finished splitting the checks before ordering, we started ordering and he completely ignored my presence. He didn’t bother to acknowledge me in any way. After the rest of my family was done ordering, he walked away without taking my order. While we were waiting for the food, I was telling myself that he heard me and took my order without me realizing. But a few moments later, the food came out and my food was no where to be seen. As I started to ask him where my food was, he told me that I never gave him my order, before I even finished my sentence. I was unaware that I had to go up to him and tap him on the shoulder to get his attention to give him my order. I am strongly discouraged that this establishment would do such a thing, especially since the food here is really good. If you decide to go to this restaurant then I hope the same doesn’t happen to you.

Service was good but when my food arrived it was just warm and not hot like it should be. Now I should add it was close to closing time but that is no excuse to serve food that is not at proper temperature! The taste was ok just wish it was hot. Also not sure what they did to the salsa but couldn't taste anything but onions! My wife loves to eat onions but was not able to eat the salsa, It tasted like they had juiced several onions then chopped more to to put into the tomato and other ingredients.

We enjoyed the food, and our waiter, Daniel, did a great job! From the menu, my husband chose the Tamale dinner, and I chose the Fish Taco dinner. Both were very good. The restaurant is a little noisy, but you do have the option of sitting on their outdoor patio area.
