I have eaten in and carried out. Food is always hot and delicious. Atmosphere reminds me of pizzerias in New York. Pizza crust is crisp and cheese is perfectly melted. Meatballs are delicious and calzones are out of this world!Parking: Easy parking right in front of restaurant

This restaurant has an identity crisis. Both Giovanni’s Pizza and DiMaggio Restaurant are listed at the same address. Each have different menus and different reviews. As combined the restaurant was dirty, the ordering was you walk up to the counter and the food was just fair. The garlic knots were swimming in melted butter and were cold, the sausage and meatballs were hot and cooked as was the order of spaghetti. The sauce was thick and tasty and the antipasto salad was huge. We decided that when local Italian food reviews are sketchy we’re going to Olive Garden.

Although the atmosphere is nice, the food and service are excellent. The only problem is they are an hour drive from me. I live in the north end of Lakeland and they need to put a store here.

Warning to everyone that goes to this place!!! Pizza is garbage and they use deceitful tactics to get customers to come in. When ordering one day from a pizzeria on line under the name of “Dimaggios pizzeria” I ordered and when I was advised that it would be over two hours to before delivery I went over there to cancel my order. Upon arriving to the location it turns out they they are “Giovanni pizzeria” , the same garbage place I went to about 2 months ago. When I asked the employee if the place was also called Dimmaggios, she stated, yes. They should be charged with false advertising and deceit. They don’t deserve any stars, o’s all the wayParking: N/A

Authentic New York style pizza! My family enjoyed the pizza, meatballs, garlic knots & antipasto salad. This quality is much appreciated after a day at LEGOland.
Used to go there, not anymore. I ordered thin and crispy. It was not crisp or thin, it was hardly cooked. When I called( I rarely call and complain anywhere) the girl said, oh we had a rush. Not a good answer. She offered another if I drove backSo it's March 2, 2024, I have gone back. Today the lady who answered was real through and the pizza was great. Maybe different staff back then, but I now do go quite a bit.

I keep forgetting about this place, it doesn’t look like much, but looks can be deceiving, I got a meat lovers stuffed pizza, WOW! I think this might have been the best pizza I’ve ever had! Garlic knots are awesome and the cannoli’s. The people working there treated us so good and all of our meals were delicious, I highly recommend trying this place!!
