First time I’ve been here at George’s very good food love, the atmosphere. You have a choice of sitting outside or inside, just a hole in the wall. An excellent place to enjoy a wonderful Saturday morning. I’ll be back.

I came in on Saturday for a quick breakfast but it was nothing but quick. I ordered the Abigail, it wasn’t only late and cold but I couldn’t continue eating when I found not only one but two white hairs in my food. Disgusting. Not only the food was unpleasant but the atmosphere of George’s Cafe was horrible; you could heard loud shouting/yelling from the back, not a polite or comfortable environment to be in. I do not recommend this place at all. With all of the shouting and commotion I do not plan to support this business.

I’d like to hand out the award of “Worst Diner Today”We placed an order of two sandwiches, one garden trio of salads, cost $65 and waited 1.25 hours. The kitchen paper was out so no orders were printing, like if you are kitchen staff and it’s high noon and you can hear orders being taken then walk out after 30 mins and ask what the heck is going on.The lady retook our order after 30mins and then again at the register. We walked back and forth a few times, nothing.Once it arrived the salads were kinda like warm, supposed to be chilled, the croissant was super small like I was eating in a doll house. Let’s rename the french fries to three times fried frenchy. Could not even open the mayo, they forget to put it on both sandwich’s.Let’s face it the poor lady has only worked there for 3 weeks and she was the only one working. No team effort and no owner in sight. We didn’t even get a dang cookie. She offered to comp the meal, it’s not about that, fix the food, clean the kitchen and fire everyone except the new lady and let her hire people. Set up the salads like in Petty’s of Longwood and serve it right then.

Fantastic lunch spot on Park Ave and very reasonably priced for the area. Was introduced to this place by a good friend for lunch and returned for a second try which was even better than the first. I ordered the classic salad which was full of fresh fruits like raspberry, blackberry, oranges, and strawberries, as well as a healthy portion of pecans and cheese. The flavors were refreshing and perfect. I asked about the soup of the day and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion and wonderful flavors of the Brunswick Stew. I would definitely order that again! Service is good, not great, but the food is fantastic. Charming location with lots of outdoor seating. Perfect for a quiet lunch in the area. Will definitely be returning soon!

The staff here does not seem to accommodating of dietary guidelines either based upon religion or any other protected category. As such, perhaps another similar restaurant may be best if you are someone who adheres to certain dietary restrictions. Winter Park has many restaurants after all.

After hearing nice things about your Cafe and specifically about the cookies, I came in today on a Friday the 9th of february. A woman with long white hair and a ponytail was behind the counter. I was so excited about the chocolate chip cookie with nuts. I told her that's what I was looking forward to and I just wanted to verify there were no peanuts. I'm not allergic to walnuts or almonds or pecans. Although she chattered on and on and on that it's loaded with those nuts and I better not buy it at all , if I'm allergic to peanuts. She flat out told me not to buy the cookie. Again I reiterate I am allergic ONLY to peanuts and I go through life eating cookies made with nuts. She should know whether or not there were peanuts in that cookie!I just wanted to know what was in the darn cookie. She was not at all polite. Maybe she owns the place and she doesn't have to be polite to people, I don't know. I walked out the door, what a disappointment, what a huge disappointment and I would not recommend this cafe.

Looked up a new place to try said it was opened. Drove all the way there for them to look at us crazy when we walked in and tell us that they’re not opening until 11 AM for lunch. Just plan uncalled for with no signs stating why!
