I was a regular from the day they opened in August 2021, until recently when a bunch of drama occurred with management and ownership. The owner Greg is very greedy and arrogant, and he mistreats his employees. I was and still am good friends with former employees and the past managers who got fired or quit. The old managers did everything to make the business boom, like have cookouts on Sundays during football games, and they had some amazing events held, especially on holidays. The owner is a horrible decision maker by firing his old staff who brought life to the business, and also refused to lower the prices of the kava and kratom drinks they sell at Kava Culture. I have paid $15-20 on one tab at other places nearby for only about two to three drinks that have the real kava/kratom effect, whereas Kava Culture charges at least $20 for a large drink that has zero effect on my body and my brain. I may have gotten very close to these former employees and managers, but that is not why I wrote this review. I wrote this review because Kava Culture is a very dysfunctional business and I am advising everyone who loves kava and kratom to save their money and try other places that are actually worth it!

I’ve been here a couple times since i found it and everytime has been amazing!! Everyone i’ve interacted with have been very kind and helpful as i’m new to kava. I’d like to note specifically Elijah made my last visit there memorable. It’s refreshing to see people who enjoy their job and offer genuine fun conversation.

Don’t accept extra drinks you haven’t order from the bartenders unless you enjoy getting robbed. The drinks here are overpriced, and the bartenders at Kava Culture will finesse you for your money.Great atmosphere! I would come back again if every other kava lounge in town shuts down.

Such a nice place with great vibes. Elijah, my tender the past couple times I went is very kind and happy to whip up and serve various drinks. He hosted a sip and paint event which was very fun. Several hours flew by and it was 2a.m. before we knew it. Highly recommend !

First time and it was a great time! The menu was broken down to us from the server so we could really understand what we had to drink. The atmosphere was very relaxing inside. From the ambient lighting, soft couches and swinging cushioned chairs, there was a spot for anyone. They also have a bunch of board games, card games and pool!Dogs are also welcomed inside!! (with a cute dog bed)

First impressions are everything. Today (2/2/2024, around 1:50pm), I saw this establishment and decided to go in and make a purchase because this would be a new experience for me. The establishment’s aesthetics are very inviting, but the customer service was HORRIBLE.There were 3 patrons sitting at the bar, all of which had been served. I was the only person needing to be served.I walked to the bar and waited for the bartender (long straight blond hair and of European descent ) to acknowledge my presence. She did not. I waited about 2 minutes. As I am waiting, another gentleman of her same ethnicity walks through the door, walks down and stands behind me. The bartender automatically smiles and asks him if she could help him. He states he is there to meet someone and the person he was there to see just happened to be seated to my left.Anyway, instead of the bartender then asking me if she could help me, she glances at me then proceeds to start to go back to what she was doing. At this point, I say, “So I guess you don’t see me standing here?”. It is at this time she gives me a fake smile and asks me if she could help me. I told her that was okay, turned and walked out the door. She never once tried to apologize for not acknowledging my presence. It may not mean much to your company, but you have lost revenue because of her actions. My family and I spend over $100 to $200 every week on establishments like these. We will drive 30 to 40 minutes away just to get the drink from the establishment we enjoy going to and seeing as to how your establishment is less than 2 minutes away…well, you know the rest. Again, the loss of this revenue may not mean much to your company.I will be telling my friends not to support this business as well.

I’ve come here a handful of times and I must say I tell all my friends about this place because it’s always a good vibe . On Sunday I went for a drink with my cousins for the first time and let me just say it was not the same ! There was a new guy working his name was Greg and he was not a breath of fresh air to say the least. the drink he made was HORRIBLE, I could tell he was new because he didn’t have a clue of what he was doing, it was my cousins first time and he couldn’t even explain what kava or kratom is . It was horrible and completely different from the previous time I visited this location . The staff at kava have good hearts so I’m sure they were just giving someone a chance but he was not it ! Anytime I go there if he’s working I’m walking right out !

Service was phenomenal, Cammi was wonderful, first experience with any sort of kava beverages and was super pleased with the product. Good stuff will be back for sure!

Great service, drinks and vibe. Looking for a place to just unwind without the usual bar scene? Then this is your place! Excellent music choice and lots of games to play. A "Must go"
