One Year later on 4/13/24 Plaza Mexico was doing well. The restaurant was pretty full of Happy patrons including myself . I ordered off the menu because lunch specials are not offered on weekends now which was a disappointment . I had a Mexican plate with a beef burrito and a pork tamal .Tasty yes but Tamal was very dry and crumbly . Waitress was LOVELY and rendered good service , not overly aggressive which was great . My experience came to be $ 25.00 including. Ice tea and a 25% gratuity . On 4/4/23 I had lunch today and I had Lunch Special 2 which was a beef burrito with rice and beans . Delicious and tasted as it always does . Perfect ! ( 1st review) The place is very lovely and nice decor. ,I had the carne asada lunch portion STOP very satisfied .Only issue was the server Louanna , she tried too hard which made her irritating but she did her job. All in all good place to have a meal.Parking: Usually parking is available at night can be iffy .Wheelchair accessibility: Doors wide enough

READ THIS REVIEW!! Been here 3 times I was hoping service would improve but no! Terrible actually. For such an expensive place your service should be top notch. You want $20 a plate? Fine but I won’t tip your waiters a dime. First time, I asked any drink(margarita) specials, he said no. Looked in the menu after I ordered to see drink specials for that night! Bill over $100. Second time better service and food was great. $75 bill. Third time, the worst service ever. Ordered my food, never got chips and salsa. Had to ask AFTER we got our food, and I even ordered queso! Drink had salt not sugar and once we got our food we never seen our server again, only got 3 tortillas so had to wait till we flagged someone down to get more tortillas and napkins, I had to order more food and I had to actually ask another worker to get our server. Got charged for sour cream but never got it because our SERVER!!! Even my kids said they wish we never came here. Food is decent but I don’t know how you get people to come back.

My wife and I went there for the first time tonight and we're not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. There was a mariachi band there and they were awesome. Just a great experience. Do yourself a favor and make a visit.

If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and go. My wife and I went and the food and service was great. The mariachi band was excellent. Did not disappoint and will definitely go there again....by the way order the Chile Rellannos!

Food was meh. It was wrong ,but the service was so slow that I was unable to get it fixed because the waitress was no where to be found. The place was empty and quickly filling up so I get she may have been busy. It was too expensive for the food and quality and probably won't be back.
Ordered food to go. Was told it would be 15 minutes. I waited for over 1/2 hour and they finally brought out my order. My bad for not checking it before I left for an over 24 minute drive home. Got home and only had one of the entrées ordered. Called the restaurant and spoke with the manager Irving. He agreed to have my other entree ready and said he would give me a refund. So I drove 24 minutes back and when I got there Irving was not there and no other staff were able to give me a refund. For my first experience trying the restaurant on a recommendation from a neighbor, I was extremely disappointed with the service. Hope they make it right and Irving reaches out to me. ?
