Unfortunately, this place is my families go to location for birthday parties and gatherings. I've now been to your restaurant two times and have spent over $80 to feed two adults and a toddler people both times. I'm not sure if I've just ordered the wrong thing or gotten unlucky, but I have not found a single thing on your menu that I enjoy especially at the price point that you're charging. On top of this, You hire snarky waiters who get upset when people aren't happy with their food. I am very confused as to how this place has a good reputation. I do not see it.

1885 is one of those places with the perfect mix of food, price and services that you won’t forget.1885 is located off the beaten path in Acworth, literally hidden by the railroad tracks and a pedestrian bridge, just off Main Street. The atmosphere is perfect for a business lunch/dinner, or an any get together with family and friends. The oversized bar area has more than enough seating, and is surrounded by multiple TV’s to watch whatever sport you’re into. With an enormous wrap-around and climate controlled patio, you can choose inside or out, just about any time of year.I can’t recommend this one highly enough.

Placed a Togo order 5 min later I watched the kitchen place an order on the counter . Not thinking it was mine .I waited patiently. 20 minutes later the host brought be that same bag that waited on the counter for 20 minutes. Told me that it was just out of the kitchen . Felt the bottom of the foil container... Cold... I kindly asked the host if the kitchen would remake it for me ...I stood at the entrance and watched the kitchen throw the chicken back in the oven to reheat it. Throw it in a new foil container.. bon appetit. . For that price smh . I'm enjoying it,, but the chicken is overcooked dry and sticking between my teeth .. remake means remake . Reheat means remake. All roads lead to remake the food . Never reheat chicken unless the customer absolutely insists. .I tipped someone 10 to put the order in . I never saw that person again for the duration of my stay in the lobby . What did I tip for.

Burger was fresh, flavorful, and put together intentionally to avoid making it soggy for takeout.

Excellent meal! My filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband's swordfish was the special and it was also delicious. Everything is seasoned very well, especially the veggies. Great service and food served promptly. Highly recommend!

Oh 1885. We've been driving past your restaurant for many years heading to Henry's for dinner. Often we would say how we would love to try 1885! My wife and I finally decided to give you a try for our anniversary! Sadly to say we were not impressed. We were seated at a small high top table by the back door. It took the waiter a while to realize that we were even there. The ribeye was overly priced with no bread or even a salad. Just a steak and a potato. The only saving grace was my wife's Lobster ravioli was good. For the money spent on our anniversary dinner it just didn't meet our expectations! Looks like a one and done for 1885!

1885 was our choice over a reservation we had at Houston's on West Paces . It was a long day going back to North Ga. Wanted outdoor seating for the Eclipse. Sorry to say missed the Eclipse and should have probably 1885. Waitress was great but food Lackluster for all the great reviews. Shrimp and crawfish was like a soup .... Had to ask for bread. Bread was day old and cold. Then offered cornbread???!! I wish them well but need to step up. I could continue with being a negative Nelly. Good Luck to 1885 please do better!

Food and service were good. Menu seems a little limited. But that's just my opinion.

We're from chattanooga home of the original. Nice place in Acworth. Wife really enjoyed her filet and Brussel spouts. I got mushrooms and grit and shrimp. The grits we tasty and cooked well but the shrimp was over seasoned and well over cooked, couldn't even finish them. Service was very quick and pleasant though
