Was hoping this place was going to be good because it's right next to our house, but it just wasn't a great experience. We came on a Saturday night around 7:00 and the place wasn't busy at all. My wife ordered shrimp hibachi that came out cold. I ordered a roll of sushi and general tsos chicken. I asked for the sushi to come out before our meal, and it didn't make it to the table until I was done with my entree. THE SUSHI WAS DELICIOUS THOUGH - ONE OF THE BEST ROLLS IVE HAD IN A WHILE. The General Tsos was the worst I've ever had - The chicken was rubbery and lacking flavor.

We stopped by Atami just by chance on our way home from a baseball practice, and we were blown away by the service (so patient with our young kids), the food (best hibachi I’ve had in a while), and the hibachi chef (Chef Dom). Everything was absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be back!
