Leslie and I went for the first time last week. Jackie was our server, and she was AWESOME!! Very friendly and knowledgeable, and patient with us as we pondered over their huge menu. Leslie had biscuits and gravy that she enjoyed. I had the Bourbon Pecan Glazed Chicken and Waffles. It was AMAZING!! We'll be going back soon... and asking for Jackie. They have lots of great looking dishes to choose from, but I already know ow I'll be doing a repeat. It was really THAT GOOD!!

Excellent food, wonderful service! First and foremost, they cook with skill, care, and most importantly Flavor! The country fried steak skillet will overwhelm you with a deliciousness-flavor-bomb- overload! Yes!!!! Crispy parmesan potatoes under homemade sausage gravy, tender country fried steak, topped with made to order (over easy) eggs that are cooked to perfection. You have a choice, choose wisely, THE BISCUIT! You will not regret these flakey beautiful biscuits. Side note: They cook your eggs any way you like, what impressed me is the eggs are so perfectly cooked to order. The sexy food photos are showing the perfect over easy, and over hard, both as ordered, a rarity in most places! We so so appreciate the attention to details, flavors, and freshness. Today's breakfast was literally sublime. Aside from the amazing tasting food, let's talk about the amazing people. We are always greeted with sincere smiles and true warmth, from wonderful people serving some of the best food in Georgia. We were informed today that they are now open until 8pm on Thursday and Friday so we can't wait for dinner!

I’m giving this place a 3 because I was a little disappointed. The fried green tomatoes were good, but ultimately mushy. The sides were not what was described or accurate to servers description. Overall the food was fine. Nothing crazy. But the price for 2 ppl was stupid. 51 dollars before tip for 2 people. No alcoholic beverages thank god. And 3.99 for a side is crazy. Other than price, I would have come back. But it’s too pricey.

This was our first time here, and was very pleased with ambiance of the restaurant, the menu was well thought out with a huge variety of entrees, and our waitress Anna was superb! She was engaging and went above and beyond, giving us a choice from the weekend brunch menu to the regular weekly menu. I liked that she checked on us often but not hovering and the food was very good. Definitely recommend this little restaurant for great American dining!

We stopped at this cafe after exploring red top mountain. Decent food, took a good little bit to arrive and a few people were served before we were though we were seated immediately. No one seated us, just directed us to a little table by the wall (two of us) and it took us about 1.5 hours to get finished. No coffee options except for hot black coffee, and the steak and eggs we got in our meals was fairly overcooked and not entirely tasty. My pancake was very yummy and the cheese curds and parmesan potatoes were too. The atmosphere was fairly hectic, tables very close together and kind of an "open concept" interior, making it not super relaxing but not terrible. Our waitress was kind, however often more occupied with other tables and patrons than us. It was a nice breakfast when you're really hungry, but not somewhere I'd choose to visit regularly considering the prices and overall enjoyment.

I ordered the garden skillet which is normally good;however, today the broccoli was uncooked. Overall, the meal was just so so.

Fabulous place with lovely food and service. It's a family owned and operated restaurant and staff are longterm employees. You'll love it

Had a delicious breakfast this morning! The best biscuits I've found, so far, in Atlanta! Crisp and lightly browned on outside with a pillowy, fluffy inside. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Tasty grits. Sausage had some heat. Terrific coffee and tea! Service was super nice, professional, and welcoming. Small, no frills interior. Mimosas available too! Give it a try!

Cold food was re-delivered after it was microwaved to 'heat it up'.Salty food that I did not eat. Then they tried to charge me for my entree.

Always a pleasure to treat ourselves to Salt & Pepper. Scratch kitchen, varied menu, reasonable prices, breakfast all day, and a wonderful waitstaff. # 1 on our list of favorites.

Good food and service. Great neighbor restaurant. Great value. Would recommend for breakfast or any meal available.

Loved the food! Served was pretty busy and couldn’t get to us fast enough but I’m a patient person. Tables rather close but can you blame management for doing that? It makes for less wait and it’s worth it! I’ll definitely be back!

Food was incredible! My family will definitely be back! I forgot to take pictures of everything but we ordered the donut bites for an appetizer and my husband fell in love. 10/10

Food was good. They even granted my request for crispy bacon and extra crispy potatoes. My waiter was new, but he was eager to do a great job. My only complaints are that the wall air conditioning unit on the wall above and behind me was blowing hard enough that I needed to put the salt shaker on the napkins to prevent them from blowing off the table. And it was about 55° outside, so it was not very comfortable to have the air-conditioning on anyway. Also, the very young folks taking names for the wait list could use just a little bit more training.
