Normally, I'm not the going out type...but this place is a low key vibe. Dimmed lighting, good music, friendly bartenders. No drama...I definitely will be coming back?

Ok so my wife and I walk in and we almost turn around because it seems that they are setting up for an event. Some one inside says we are open. So we seat ourselves. Once we sit down the bartender comes over and takes our order. I order 10pc wings and fries along with fried pickles for my wife. Then we are told we have to pay for our food first before the order is submitted to the kitchen. We had to pay separately for each drink order as well. This felt real elementary. I'm used to running a tab. Im grown. So finally the food comes out. My wings are ok. They are fresh and hot. The fries are hot. My wife's drink was made well. "Why the one star rating?" My wife can't do spicy food. So she takes a bite of her fried pickles and they are spicy. Nowhere on the menu do they mention spicy. She tells the bartender. The bartender asks the "manager or owner" (I'm not sure who he was) if we can substitute the spicy pickles for another appetizer? The bartender returns and says "he said you can order the six pc wings but you will have to pay for the wings and the spicy pickles Keep in mind the bartender has walked off with the pickles already. My wife says just give us the pickles back and we won't be back.
The food is great! The staff always greet you with a warm friendly welcome. If you’re looking for somewhere different to sit down and enjoy a nice meal 7even is definitely the place. The chicken strips and loaded fries are a must try dish.And don’t forget to ask for the finger licking signature sauce.

This is a cool little spot right in the middle of downtown Albany. Every time I have a great experience everyone is super friendly and personalities are great. The drinks are always good and strong and the food is delicious my favorite is the buffalo shrimp!! The wings are good too if you never been you should definitely check this place out!
